Wow, didn't know that about Bobby O. That's BS!!

Agree about the SNY Mets crew...and Bobby O was a big part of that. Very disappointed!!

    Burkhart was good too.

    Damn...Oh well

Saw Cliff Floyd on Mets Hot Stove. Much prefer him over Figueroa in the studio.
I like Gelbs over Gary Apple-head too.

Never particularly cared for Ojeda. It's all about Darling, Hernandez, & Burkhardt

I was a big fan of Booby O as a player too. Thought he was excellent in the studio...part of the '86 crew too.
Burkhardt's gone too. Who took his place? Gelbs?

Heading to Spring Training next Mon-Tuesday and if the rotation holds I get to see Harvey!

I can't believe the Mets are going to be Must See TV this year--at least once a week!

Wheeler is done and my day is pretty much done. Not sure they will do so good this season anymore.

    Fucking crushed.

Another tough blow. The amount of pitchers that need Tommy John is an epidemic. Its gone beyond that really.

Had high hopes for Wheeler this year but atleast we have enough SP depth to get through this. Gee isnt going anywhere now and maybe by midseason Syndergaard is ready to take over a rotation spot. deGrom stepped up last year with Harvey out. Next man up!

Now if Harvey goes down again I'll be crushed. I think thats putting it mildly.

Pitchers needing Tommy John Surgery is like a epidemic. I just read that more pitchers had the surgery in 2014 than in the entirety of the 1990s. Fuck our lives. It's like were cursed. It's not fair. ugh We gotta be happy they didn't trade Gee.

Sounds like they knew Wheeler was having issues with his tendon and that it may have already been partially torn at the end of last season. Typical Mets. If they knew he had an issue with it already, then why the hell didn't they have that issue addressed? They just played audio of Sandy Alderson in Fatcescers show and he was saying how pitching with that pain and injury is unsustainable, well then why didn't they have it fixed back then? because now he's gonna miss more time because of typical Mets bullshit.

    Harvey relapse

Seriously, Mets are stupid for not having traded Wheeler yet, and obviously for being cheap on getting bats. Mets won't contend for years, the problem is upper management

I can't believe the Yankees didn't insist Tamaka have TJS last year. They have him for another 6 years. Crazy because that thing is going to pop this year ruining 2 seasons.

But I HATE the Yankees so fuck them.
