As far as worst efforts since the 05 lockout go, this game was right near the top. Awful from start to finish. Really really hope the top guys on this team are just coasting until the playoffs start, otherwise this will be 2012 all over again.

AV system genius - get talented players together with good attitude, encourage them at all times rather than beat them up, instill work ethic at both ends of the rink, and always focus on high percentage plays. Works like magic in the regular season, but has trouble in the late stages of the playoffs where high percentage plays turn into "safe plays" when risk taking is what you need. We'll see how it goes this year

I was discussing the playoffs with a friend today and I said anyone not named the New York Rangers winning the Cup would surprise me. They are just that good. And that is WITHOUT King Lundqvist, who despite how this kid has played, I would think you go back to when he is 100% healthy. What do you think?
