Revis isn't here because he wants to be 'home'. He's here because he's a mercenary and we're paying him the most. Same reason he played for the Pats last year. Let's not make this a love fest, let's make sure he does his job and earns his paychecks. If you fall for the BS he's spewing about being 'home' (like Pats fans falling for his talk about winning last year), you're blind to who Mevi$ really is. That said, he's a damn good football player and hopefully he'll help us win some games.
Full disclosure, I didn't watch the video. But the fact that there's a video and it's referring to the Jets as Revis's home is enough for me. Also, I'm not here to attack you or this video specifically. It was just the time I decided to speak up on it, because I've seen a LOT of the same thing here since he re-signed.

Well he did want to come back last season to and we were the ones who traded him.Money has a lot to do with it but He never wanted to leave .Basically we got Sheldon Richardaon for free.....If Idzik would have brought him back last season he would still have a job thankfully he didn't ....Its basically Idziks fault Revis won a Superbowl with the Pats.Its funny to the same people who are so happy he is back are the same people that were thrilled when we traded him.But I agree the threads are overdone on this
I agree, he probably could have gotten the same or more money from Jacksonville, Oakland or Cleveland all who had more cap room than the Jets.
