Hey don't take it so hard, you are sweating the difference between a walnut and a sunflower seed in a league that requires an actual brain. It could be worse you could be trying to salvage an argument you made about how Tee Martin was the best QB in the 2000 draft
As for Geno I heard that Parcells was on the radio today (I didn't hear it, my brother told me about it) and actually had some good things to say about Geno. He thinks he has potential. Maybe it's what Mac and Gailey and Bowles think, too. To me it's an endorsement from someone I respect. To me Parcells although here short term was the best thing that ever happened to this franchise. He turned things around. But I still don't want Geno to start.
Marcus Mariota? Really? Why use our 6th pick on a bust. Isn't that what 6th and 7th round picks are for?
No you're getting somewhere, guy, just stay in that groove and don't let the football sireens take you off course
Yeah they signed Romo who has all of two playoff wins to his name, early on Parcells was able to find QBs who didn't make mistakes while his EP offense rolled on the ground and defense kept other teams honest and then the league changed and his QB acumen went by the wayside.
Well if you have a choice I'd rather let a guilty man walk then put an innocent man in jail. But based on what I read he probably did it. And the fucked up priorities of the school administration and local authorities who care nothing about justice make it that much worse.
None of us know. We can't. Whatever you choose to read there are just as many articles on the other side. 3 Duke lax players had their lives turned upside down by this stuff. Nobody knew there either. _
Bowles is a Parcells guy too. Prolly just giving a generic statement. Geno just don't know how to dish the pill, I don't think. The behind the back, and hold the ball out with one hand tricks gotta go too, I would think. I remember after a bad Int in year one, the talk after the game was stressing that Geno makes sure he throws the ball out of play if the play isn't there. Next game the first time he threw the ball away he heaved the ball as far he could into the stands.
I would give anything for the offensive line WRs and RB that actually got them to the playoffs this year
Ya romo has nothing to do with them winning Put the likes of geno on that team and they don't make the playoffs
If Geno can play in control and be consistent like he was at the end of last season he can play in the NFL. He doesn't have to be spectacular. In other words he can start but he'll never be a franchise QB.
Put the likes of Geno on the Patriots, Seahawks, Packers, actually any other contending team and they also don't make the playoffs. It's not about substituting Geno for some good QB it's how valuable they are to the situation Romo has been there a very long time and he couldn't carry a child's beach bucket of water unless everything was perfect. heck we went to the championship game with Sanchez and he was wearing training wheels
