The discussion isn't whether he is better than he is being valued, it is what his perceived value is.

You just supported my argument. Wilson had a perceived third round or later value and that is where he was drafted. Whether he turned out better than that isn't relevant to the discussion of whether that's where his perceived value was.

Yes it is completely relevant. Who cares what Foles' perceived value by other teams is. He's going to end up surpassing it by a large margin and then we'll all be sitting there with our dicks in our hands saying gee wish we traded for him.

taking a RB in the first round at all even if its a major need is dumb in my opinion. RB is not really a valued position in the NFL, RBs are a dime a dozen.

if we took one at 6 id be on suicide watch

I agree. but just to clarify, should your scenario play out, are we going to be holding on to our OWN dicks or EACHOTHER's dicks? Because preparation for these tow events differs greatly and I would like ot be prepared.

Really really huge distinction needs to be made there. MS, can we get a ruling here?

I'm actually holding my own dick right now, kind of comforting, in that hand down the pants sort of way.

The alternative is seriously giving me some anxiety.

Assuming we are talking about Mariota, I can't in good conscience concede the bold nor should anyone. I totally get sitting him for a year +/- IF and ONLY IF he shows himself NOT to be ready on the field. I don't, however, get is pervasive notion that he HAS to sit no matter what. I don't believe in limiting prospects before they've stepped foot on to a NFL field, practice and/or game. By all accounts Mariota is considered a quick study, I don't see why he couldn't have the kind of success RGIII had his rookie year assuming we mix in a lot of what he does well now in the offense we end up running. Isn't Gailey known for catering his offense to his personnel, more specifically his QB? Mornhingweg futilely tried to do that for Geno, but Geno was simply not good enough. This doesn't mean Mariota is doomed to have the same fate.

Going to camp with preconceived notions on who should not play in the upcoming season is the same kind of mentality that leads to a guy like Geno getting 2 full starting season virtually unchallenged.

I think it's probable that johnnyd thinks the only definition of median is a strip of gas between two highway lanes

You may be right but I'm skeptical of any URL that includes "EGGCORNS" in it

The "inaccurate passer" label stems from the fact he will on occasion miss a gimme; I'm talking about a guy being WIDE open. When it does happen IMO, it's usually not an inaccuracy issue but a a complete fail in mechanics, which 90+% of the time is consistently good. It's weird how people get so antsy when Mariota does once in a blue moon but don't bat an eye when Winston consistently throws into double/triple coverage halves at a time.

hahah you miss the point....and this is why you SHOULD trust the site. Its talking about words and phrases that people type incorrectly because they think they hear what they think they hear....some people honestly believe an ACORN is an EGGCORN. This is the product of only hearing something and never seeing it in print because some people don't read. Its like those who think its " all intense and purposes" again, that's an " eggcorn" get it? Im not being a dick by the way in case it comes across like I am.

MEDIAN...besides the protective highway barrier is a word that only applies to numbers..Medium is the middle ground of all sorts of thinks....sizes shapes, anything.

So trust me when I tell you that the proper expression is HAPPY MEDIUM...................
