This division is going to be a bloodbath next year. Seems like all 4 teams will have great defenses (with the Pats having the worst of the 4), and all 4 teams having decent offenses (with the Jets having the worst of the 4 because of QB). If there is any chance to get Brees, this team has 2009 written all over it (albeit with a much, much, much better outcome)...
What mocks are you talking about? I have none with Gurley anywhere near the top 10, let alone going 6... SI just posted one and it has us taking MM, Bleacher Report has us taking MM, and Walterfootball's latest has us taking Waynes (but its pre-Cro)...
My favorite player in the whole draft. I hope we get him later in round one but could live with #6 if that's what it takes.
If we take a RB that just tore his ACL with the #6 overall pick I will drive to Florham Park and burn the entire complex down to the ground.
I'm not a huge MM fan. If we take him in the draft though, I completely understand the pick, and trust that Mac as a professional scout knows way more than I do and will root like hell for him. If we take Gurley 6 overall (which would never ever happen) I will lose all faith in this regime.
Gurley is big and insanely strong and has surprising straight line speed with a good cutback but I just don't see the comparison, AP is the complete package in every category
Gurley has a reputation as a pass blocker and has good hands. Aside from the ACL injury I just don't see anything wrong with the guy.
