that NCwhateverguy was saying the other day that theres no potential for bust at all with MM. He asked someone to explain how he has bust potential...I hitnk it was him, I apologize if it was someone else. Considering his footwork sucks, never played under center, never read defenses and could go as high as number 2, Id agree with you that there is HUGE bust potential here
he COULD play under center, exhibit good footwork, and read defenses if he WANTED/WAS ASKED too though, jonny. I'm sure he COULD walk on water and cure cancer as well if he WAS ASKED too
Well the mock has MM going to browns at 12. Its a very head scratching mock but honestly the way most drafts end up going is head scratching for every team because most teams end up taking a player who is not one of the small handful all their fans say ill be happy if they take this guy
Personally if we want Gurley i would try to trade back with the browns and taking both of their first round picks and getting him at the later first round pick because i think he will be there
yup...and then he drops a few more spots, then theres a bunch of teams who don't need a QB...then hes in the 20s and now everyone is scared to draft him and BOOM....he goes in the 2nd round........Geno Smith anyone?
hurt or not hurt, it would be a GINOSTEROUS mistake to take any RB 6 with all the talent in that position in this draft. Theres no chance we take him 6..
Not if Bradford doesn't start this year. He will have no suitors in FA, and a year in the system, so the Iggles eat the 13 mil this year, as they have Nacho for two, and Kelley probably thinks he can keep Bradford upright. In that case, you're talking about 10-12 less turnovers...that could the difference in winning 10, and winning 12 or 13 If you let Bradford get on the field this year, you only drive his long term market value up, and you only have El Nacho Loco as your remaining option.
has anyone ever considered that maybe Chip Kelly doesn't have the boner for Mariota that everyone thinks he does
Ok I for one am sick in tired of these shitty college qb's who win the heisman because if the system they run. Then what happens when they go to the NFL?? They suck. The only two heisman winning qb's I can think of that actually turned out good are Cam Newton and Doug Flutie. If the Jets draft Mariota kiss our 9-10 win season goodbye, because every "smart" Jets fan will want him to start week 1. Pathetic brainwashing by the ESPN idiots
If we trade back with CLE and take their firsts, I'd go with 2 OL. Get Scherff and one of the OT prospects. This year, Scherff would play guard and the other OT will battle with Giacomini.
All hell is gonna break loose on this forum when it comes down to taking Cooper MM or Fowler I cant wait
