The crowd has been stagnant b/c the team stinks, the chant is nice but Ed was clueless when to get a crowd loud. he used to do the chant when we were on offense and the stupid "De-fense" chant on D. Ed should get in touch with jets brass. He could publicly set up tryouts for an heir and they could document it... Woddy and Ed could make some coin.... Put that shit on SNY or ESPN. do a whole back story on Ed and then he profiles nominees he's going to train and screen.... NYPD FD ETC. Reality tv style but with me spine and attitude.
he's a real Jet fan, he still goes to games so I don't think that is fair BUT he abandoned the team when the team was bad so I don't want him back in his cheerleader role.

I appreciate that Captain Jet goes to every game but PLEASE stop showing him on TV. he is our bad luck charm, as soon as they show him bad things happen.

Ed didn't start getting shit until he switched to the Sanchez jersey, in a bad attempt to sway opinions on his shit play. He tried going from cheerleader, to talent scout. It didn't work out.
we have awful fans, he knew that from years and years at Jet games. He should have been able to deal w/ whatever the nitwits shouted at him.
The Jets were in cap hell because they fiddled with the cap and kept pushing back the hits to add people rather than use the draft. 2008 was not the cause, 2010 & 2011 was the cause.
I vote for the green and white edition of this. As an aside, how is this not our cheerleader uniforms? It's the kind of no-brainer decision that only the Jets front office could get wrong.
it wasnt just that. someone got physical with him the night of the buttfumble. i actually met his brother a few months back. told me the whole story. really nice guy btw. i have 1000% been anti-ed in the past. i used to sit like 2-3 rows in front of him in the old stadium. i personally thought he crossed a line and started acting like a celebrity diva towards the end and it was lame as hell. nasty to fans that came up to him in a nice manner, etc. after meeting his brother tho, and hearing some stories first hand about how some of our fans treated him over the years and whatnot, my stance on him has definitely changed. he should come back and do his thing, and at this point i think enough time has past that we should welcome him back with open arms. i mean lets be honest, the place was a lot louder with him leading that chant, than it is with that half assed drumline and that toothless bad luck charm that they show all the time. i agree junc, that friggin guy needs to be banned from tv. find a seat where they cant see him or something. the guy is a mush like jojo the whale. but a petition?!?! fuck that shit. hes a grown ass man let him do what he wants. ill just ask his brother whats up like a normal person, not gather signatures like its the jets gay marriage movement. and honestly, based on all these moves, i wouldnt be suprised if he did come back
