Get Real Stokes, I have never called you or anyone on this board names. And I have been here for many years, unlike you. Grow up. Or go back to school, to learn how.
From everything I've read the last few days about Mariota, he seems like a legit QB. Probably not a star but a solid better than average NFL QB most likely. Yes he does have some risks and flaws, more-so than other potential top 10 picks but he is well worth it for the Jets if he's sitting there at 6. Wouldn't trade up for him though unless giving up something cheap.
You called me an A-hole. You called my dearly departed wife an A-hole. You called my older son an A-hole. You called my younger son an A-hole. You called my roommates and lifelong friends A-holes. Excuse me if I take exception to that. _
Haha, I don't think he nailed it, lol. Prolly a lock Lovie takes JM, Lovie's old school Looked like MM was thinking about his footwork and form and not just playing. Still like him, and fear JM's off the field issues.
Winston wont fall in the draft because he has first round talent. Better arm , better transition , better read trough progressions only thing mariotta beats winston is being a shy boy and running lol.
I'm curious...did you read the article that legler82 posted in the draft forum comparing Hundley, Winston, and Mariota? If not, please read it and then tell me that anyone who thinks Mariota may be as good as, if not better than, Winston is nuts. That breaks down their play in very clear, scientific terms, and puts in black and white what stokes, others and I have seen.
How come anytime theres a fight on these forums either Stokes or NYJunc is involved hahah? Anyway I personally think both MM and Jameis will be above average NFL QBs st very least. I just like MM more because of his smarts and work ethic
Who knows what will happen? The draft is always crazy, and teams do some nutty, surprising things. I understand the logical reasons why TN and Washington might not take Mariota, but I could see them still doing it. I would be shocked beyond belief, however, if Washington traded with Philly allowing them to move up to get a potential franchise QB. They'd be shooting themselves in the foot.
Not sure about NYjunc, but I know Stokes is involved in every argument because he's an overly sensitive pampered doosh who has a need to get the last word in on a football discussion forum. Sad really, but he's been that way for over a decade now. I think it's some sort of Napoleon Complex issue. Dude is like four feet tall. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
For some it did, but not for anyone with common sense. Not every QB is ready to play from the first day. Some have basic fundamental issues they need to focus on, which you can't do when you're studying upcoming opponents, learning game plans, etc. Winston's probably the only QB in this draft who could come in and start from day one, and he would still struggle. Fans, owners, GMs and coaches need to develop some patience.
