The jets are as far as he should fall...the idea of Geno or Fitz starting disgusts me

 

Fritz is going to start even if we do draft Mariota

 

I understand you don't want geno or fitz to start but that doesn't mean you take a risk on every QB that comes down the pike. We have the 6th pick and HAVE to hit on this one. Mariota, IMHO is a 2nd round talent. Did you watch his throws? This was supposed to be the easy part for him. Imagine having to read a defense and THEN throw? He sa long way off from being ready to play on Sundays if he ever gets to that point

 

Pro day means nothing

Now not a big fan of mariota but has nothing to do with the proday he looked good st the combine throwing to wrs he didn't even no

Bridgwater was horrible last year

Payton Manning and Matt ryan didn't have great pro days

 

I just hate starting over wih another rookie QB
IF we even draft him

First choice is Fowler or someone of that category

 

I do not want any QB this year. I would like to wait until next year and get John Robertson from Nova. I know you all will kill me for this and yes he is just 1a or champion subdivision as they call it now. but check out his stats on Wiki or Google, big kid strong arm and Mobile. Please don't forget Howie Long and Brian Westbrook both came from Nova. Oh Btw
He also won the Jerry Rice award and the Walter Payton award.And yes I am a longtime Nova fan. We won't even have to draft him. Put him on the PS and watch him become a good one. Go ahead Have at it I can Handle it.
