Its not the pro day per say, its how hes throwing and moving. Especially since there is no defense.

 

Agreed, I don't think it is nerves. That would be a huge red flag if this is the reason for an okay pro day, especially if we are bringing him all the way East Coast to New York.

 

I like what casserly said if you need a qb take him if it doesn't work take another one

but anyone who thinks mariota is better then Winston is crazy

That's why you draft a QB. If you hit on him he starts taking over as the older guys move along. That's not a reason to not take a QB.

 

This commentary is ridiculously biased....Winston's turnovers are because he makes NFL throws but Mariota's lack of turnovers are a product of the UO system. I doubt if these hacks have ever watched a full CFB game

Can we win a Super Bowl with Geno or Fitzpatrick? I think we could make the playoffs with either of them, but not the Super Bowl.

2-3 years from now, we could potentially win a Super Bowl with Mariota IMO. Let's draft him and let him sit. I know the moves we made are for the present, but we can't sacrifice the future just for the sake of the present.

Know what, if I was an NFL team like the Jets who have a stadium where the weather sucks, I'd take my potential #1 pick and throw him into a practice field where there is simulated winds and cold ass temperatures. See how he practices in that crap.

I think he could be a good qb, but hes gonna need to develop. He needs to sit a year plus, maybe two. We got geno and fitz and we roll with them. Oh he will be there at 6. Tenn and Washington are not taking him.

 

If you saw it his throws were much better at the combine, I'm not sure he missed any so was that the real deal or was this?
