I hope you're the only one. A second pro-bowl corner makes our secondary the best in the NFL. Cro. is important. And his money hit won't be that much. He knows Bowles and will help the learning curve.
maybe, but right now it feels like we are going all in on geno/fitz at qb. sorry if i can't get excited for that
If they're really interested in Cro I think they're playing it right. He all but took out a billboard saying he wants to come back to the Jets in the weeks leading up to FA. He'll play for less with the Jets. He loves NY and he loves Bowles.
I think us getting Fitz means the new regime has zero interest in ever having Geno see the field (as they should). However, Fitz being here does not mean that Fitz is the starter (I think its more that Gailey trusts him more than anyone else out there and would feel comfortable going with Fitz if he had to). In other words, I think the plan is to take Mariota in the draft and go with him from day 1...
I would trade up for Mariota if that is what it took. If they don't get a qb this year, they will need one next year, and does anyone think that Cradle Jones (who I think gets exposed this year, and will regret not coming out after his fluke few games), Hackenberg (who was awful last year), or Connor Cook (who I actually like a lot, but whose decision to come back was pretty telling), is better than Mariota?
Possibly im not sold on Mariota to trade up to get him If he is available at 6 that's a different story
Jason La Canfora@JasonLaCanfora 5m5 minutes ago Strong sense among other teams monitoring Antonio Cromartie's market that he's still heading back to Jets. Anything else would be surprise
Yup. Our front office feels we have a 3 year window apparently and I agree. If not now then we are looking at a long time before competing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
they could, they should, but if snyder has his way, they wont. the word is that he thinks nothings wrong and feels rg3 is the guy. the coaching staff doesnt agree. we shall see who wins that battle.
