I was almost crying listening to him, having had to get used to the stuff Herm had been spouting for a few years.

can't debate football without name calling, eh? you are 60 too? i was right on avg age for this forum. newflash - all jets fans are 60+.

first, please explain why Jets don't run this pats system where any scrubs can jump right in and be successful. lol

    PATS SYSTEM 101

    1. find out opponent's weakness
    2. exploit the weakness
    3. make adjustments in the half
    4. exploit the weakness that they saw in the 1st half

that's it. don't give me the system bullcrap. pats is probably the only team to bench a guy who's face was on the sports illustrated for running 200 yards and then never use him again. one day pats might attack the 2ndary. other day pats might just run the ball. and they might just mix it up. shot gun, from the center, trickery that all of you seem to hate, etc, etc. objective for pats is to adapt. there is no system. it's all about exploiting the weakness. and pats been doing this for years.

when will people ever get this simple concept?

6SB appearances 4SB wins in 14 years(13 healthy brady seasons) in salary cap era > any other dynasties in the NFL.

it's simply impossible. just look at all the FA changes. if this pats were in 80's, pats would've kept everyone including revis, and on top of that they add more pieces to keep the train going. just imagine pats adding Suh to this team and kept revis, wilfork, and everyone else. imagine that. and that was the norm in the past.

yeah, you could buy championships back then. the game wasn't fair.

70s NFL players were like WWF wrestlers. running high on steroids and pain killers. all that aggression was nothing but a roid rage. take those roids out, they probably can't beat any SEC teams today.
    LOL

and no, i didn't make this up.

"I started taking anabolic steroids in 1969 and never stopped. It was addicting, mentally addicting. Now I'm sick, and I'm scared. Ninety percent of the athletes I know are on the stuff. We're not born to be 300 lbs or jump 30ft. But all the time I was taking steroids, I knew they were making me play better. I became very violent on the field and off it. I did things only crazy people do. Once a guy sideswiped my car and I beat the hell out of him. Now look at me. My hair's gone, I wobble when I walk and have to hold on to someone for support, and I have trouble remembering things. My last wish? That no one else ever dies this way."

no wonder those 70s player aren't doing so well right now.

watched more 70s games lately, and wow it's a joke compared to today's nfl. bunch of unathletic guys(compared to today's athletes) running around like a mad man(roid rage)

Jets with geno smith would've destroyed that steelers teams by weighing more than 50lb, by being so much faster, and by being much smarter with no roid rage.

So fucking stupid, irrelevant and a non sequitur.

    Debates over child.

    Brady is not the GOAT.

Pats are not the greatest dynasty.

    Notwithstanding the systematic cheating.

    There endeth the lesson.

imagine Suh is on roids and played in 70s. he would literally have 10 sacks every game. i mean how easy it would be to bulldoze 260lb lineman? lol Suh on roids would be like 325lb of nightmare.

    can't respect 70s football - a roid rage era.

it just like i can't respect WWE - the culture of roid, pain killers, and never ending crazy night life.
it really is not healthy. if you are going to cheat, cheat it the right way. lol

only 2 guys in the 1978 steelers team are over 270lb
    http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/pit/1978_roster.htm

and that's with roids. wow. without roids they must be like 260lb at best. wow. i wonder who would win 1978 steelers with no roids or college champ Ohio St. Ohio st oline avg over 300lb. i think college kids would beat them if they are off the juice. lol

    Obviously a product of steroids..

Having the defensive play calls wired into his helmet hasn't hurt either.

It's amazing that trolling Jet fans can't admit that these cheating fucks won actual Super Bowls knowing their opponents plays.

And they have the GAUL to suggest this is a legit dynasty to rival the Steelers or 49ers.

    Pathetic.

The only good thing is that once Brady and Bellicheat retire, there won't be any Pats fans. They'll all go back to rooting for the Giants like they did pre 2000.

There will still be children like Boner looking up Wikipedia pages and Google searches trotting out naive bullshit like when we were 10 and used to innocently believe what we'd read in Reader's Digest and Boys Life.

you can pretty much google anything. what a great world.

    hey look. juicers don't prosper.
    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/otl/news/story?id=3832996

anyway, just realized juiced up mike webster weighed 255lb. lol imagine him going up against vince wilfork. lol it's like playing against a child.

    oh by the way

    Tom Brady
    6ft 4 3/8 225lb

    Terry Bradshaw
    6ft 3 215lb

    lol

and those juiced up steelers looked awfully slow on film even if they were severely undersized. i can't even imagine how slow they would look if they have to gain weight to play in today's game.

NFL has come a long way.

Still don't get how stupid, illogical and what a non sequitur your analogies are.

    I weepz for the children.

    Don't procreate.
