Same as the Kaep and Cutler rumours..........why'd 49ers/Bears trade them when any potential replacement is going to be a massive stepdown at this point.

I'm told New York Jets did a lot of classroom/white board work with Brett Hundley/QB after UCLA workout yesterday and came away impressed

I'd rather have RG3 than Hundley.

Now that Chip Kelly has dispelled the Eagles will sell the farm to draft Mariota narrative, we now need to find a new Boogie man we feel will take Mariota away.

The Boogie man is right under your nose. Literally. Washington Redskins are rumored to take him @ 5.

John Clayton was on a radio show and speculated that the redskins would take Mariota at 5, and now the washington post and bloggers are running with it. Clayton didn't cite any sources, didn't even say he spoke to "a person" within the organization or someone with knowledge of the situation but somehow this has all become truth within the last 24 hours. This is how the Eagles-Mariota saga started.

John Clayton is crap and so is his "guarantee" Washington is not taking another rookie qb when they have cousins and rg3. Their problems were on defense, they were atrocious last year.

Another area of need they need to address other than qb.

We're talking about his football IQ. Many folks down in DC don't think he can read defenses or coverages or can change plays at the line of scrimmage.

And what makes you so sure Mariota can? Everyone praised RG3s intelligence as well coming out of the draft

So you think RG3 is smart and Mariota is not.

    Well done Sir.

    Well done.

Have you heard of ANYONE praising it now? Have you seen ANYTHING in his game that suggests he has a clue what is happening when he steps up to the line?

He's a supremely gifted thrower, runner, athlete. He's as dumb as a box of rocks. This is coming from folks in DC.

Mariota is the same talent. But appears to be light years smarter.
