I like it? we are debating a topic.

Edelman and welker are dime a dozen players who Brady makes look great. you like to make excuses for Manning and against Brady, you are otherwise a great poster but you get blinded in this discussion by your hatred of Brady who is far and away the best of his generation and a worthy candidate for greatest of all time.

But you fail at the dynasty part

A coach and one qb doesn't make a dynasty in 14 yrs.

There are no greater dynasties in the SB era than Pittsburgh and the 49ers.

Pats are MAYBE a distant fourth behind the Cowboys and if you take into account the cheating, then they aren't even in the conversation and are behind the Packers.

49ers cheated in multiple ways and Pitt cheated so we have to take them out.

    In the SB era:

    Niners
    70's Steelers
    Patriots
    90's Cowboys

    IMHO

That's fair. I might flip flop Steelers and 49ers just because of how many they reeled off in such a short period of time.

I agree with the 4 in the short period of time. I gave the nod to SF based on two different coaches and two different QB's. That's organizational dynasty to me. Same with my feelings about NE. One coach, one QB, 10 years between SB wins? Amazing. Miami would be my fifth.

the problem w/ Miami is they only won 2 SBs and only made 3 in a 10 year span

I'm throwing them a bone for the perfect season. Beyond that, I'm not sure I'd even consider the perfect team in the top 10 all time. I reckon few outside of Miami do either. But it is what it is. An unprecedented run.

Who would you place fifth? Certainly not the Broncos. Washington is intriguing based on the 3 different SB winning QB's over a longer time period. I've always been partial to the Raiders, not because of Plunkett, but because of my man crush on Marcus Allen and Howie Long and company.

    What say you?

I don't think there were any other real dynasties but what about Washington? made 4 SBs and won 3 in 10 year span.

I mentioned Washington. I don't think we'll ever see three separate QB's win a SB like Theisman/Williams/Rypien did. Another amazing feat.

But I have a hard on for Marcus Allen, and what he did to Washington in that 4th SB tips the scale for me. Me.

He was phenomenal that first time through. He should have never come back. The game, the players; everything was different. It was kind of sad.

I was driving back from vacation the day he came back, was in the car for hours and NFL radio played his entire press conference and the after conference and his meeting with high rollers and fans and his hours long performance/speech/Q & A that day was one of the greatest and most honest and intelligent talks I had ever heard out of an incoming coach. I was stunned at how forthright and open and personable he was with the press and his fans. Talked history and pride and excitement and the whole 9 yards.

To the post season twice, I believe. But going to that organization, that owner, those players.....the name may have been the same but everything was different. For me it was like watching MJ play for the Wizards. I could have done without it.

    It's no dynasty

That would be something to cue up and listen to again. Today we get droll blurbs spewed out in 140 characters or less.

3 in 4 in the FA/parity era is even more impressive
