Maybe. I can't imagine what they'd get for Milliner, however. Yes, he was highly rated in the draft 2 years ago, but that's been two injury-filled seasons with only spotty good play. Maybe someone would take a flyer on him for a 6th or 7th round pick. Even as desperate as teams seem to be for CBs, I'd be surprised if anyone gave even that up for Milliner.
"As of Wednesday afternoon, the Jets either are negotiating a contract with free agent safety Marcus Gilchrist, or plan to begin doing so shortly, according to a league source." http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2015/03/jets_are_negotiating_a_contract_with_free_agent_sa.html
CB 1 Revis CB 2 Cro CB3 (Nickel) Skrine cb 4 milliner Cb 5 mcdougle FS gilchrist SS Pryor If revis and CRO can be half as good as they were in 2010 were gonna be the best D in the league, back then we had no pass rush or not as good as safeties THIS IS GONNA BE A FUN TIMEEEEE
Looking good!!! @Kristian Dyer Things trending towards Gilchrist becoming a Jet. Talks are "productive and active" per source. Not definite but optimistic. #Jets
Just think, we had a top 10 defense last year with an awful secondary. Our front seven has remained in tact and we have now added Revis and Skrine. If we add Cromartie and Gilchrist, the sky is the limit!
I'm hoping they keep Williams here at least. I can see Walls will probably end up in buffalo if things play out like that.
I'm so torn about the draft Imo it's 1- mariota or Winston 2-cooper 3-OLB 4-OL As in scenarios for 1st round
Same here. Williams was great last season. Probably destined for the practice squad though if Milliner and McDougale prove their health. So considering that we should have him on the team next year.
I'm gonna let myself worry about the draft later. Just thinking about it makes me nauseous lol I'll keep enjoying free agency for now haha
This is probably a Bowles move. He likes playing with 3 sometimes 4 safeties on the field in certain situations. Jarret Pryor Allen Gilchrist... they can all see the field at the same time in some packages.
