Did he look just as good as his Jets days?

Only bad moment that stands out was gettin burned by Jordy Nelson.

I didn't watch every one of their games though.

Hopefully he's got 3 more Revis caliber seasons left.

Ok thats good to know. Because during his Jets days he was the best cornerback in the league.

Well, if we're nitpicking, the at the peak of his Jets days he may possibly have been the best CB to ever play the game of football, and he didn't get to that level in NE.

So I suppose we'll just have to settle for "best CB in the league" level on his second go around. :)

i liked how the Pats utilized him...

they would often put him on the second best receiving option with zero help, and he more than held his own.
then they'd either double team the best option... cheat McCourty that way with deep responsibility, clog the middle in coverage, or both.

Luck said playing them felt like having to play left handed.
they were able to take away what other teams were most comfortable doing.
Revis was a huge part of the Patriots ability to do so...and made the rest of the secondary look better.

I think he was as good as anyone could be at the position he plays. But the position he plays can only cover up 1 player.

He didn't shadow much due to Browner not being able to play both sides but he was still the best CB in the league

Actually, in a way, he covers 2 players as he frees up another defender to double team or take on some other responsibility.

Yeah, that's true - he doesn't need the help like some others. I'm curious how Bowles will get creative with him.

I watched a number of their games and he wasn't exactly like he played with the Jets. Definitely got the leverage on receivers but didn't tackle like the Revis we knew or even pursue ball carriers the same.

His hands were quick but not as aggressive. He also didn't grab the jersey like he had which is a good thing.

He's not as aggressive as he was when he played for us. But he has a lot more finesse

I remember Decker had a great catch on him in one of our games with them.

The Jordy play was bad, but it was a slant and I believe Revis ran into a block.
