This is guess work. We had 55 million? What's Marshall's dent in that? Was that 55 a part of having Harvin? I think it was, and so we'll keep it around 55. Then we got Skrine, and Carpenter. Those deals are 5, and 6 million per year I believe. So 44? Now we got Revis. He will be taking up 16 million in year 1. 44-16. 28 Million Left I think? LOL
Not a great deal, not a horrible deal either. A little more than I'd like to spend at CB. It's going to slow the offensive growth of the team if they don't draft really well and heavily on offense.
People always say that about coming to NY (making more money off the field) but the only guy I see on TV is Richard Sherman of Seattle!!!
Don't gotta be rude man, I'm just saying you KNOW it's about the money. I'm happy we filled the need, and hope he is a model teammate, but I have my worries that I believe are quite warranted.
The only thing we need to worry about is Revis getting hurt. Other than that it will be hard for this deal to blow up in the Jets faces over the timeframe they need it to work in.
Would like to see what the Steelers and Browns offered. "I like the tweet, "NY I'm coming home". Idzik was the only reason he wasn't here last year. He likes being here. He likes being a Jet. He got a ring with the Cheatriots. And now he thinks Brady is a jerk again.
