No they are not, but keep in mind. Woodsy looking to save face, the jets would love to fuck the pats and due to all of idzik not spending the jets are required to spend 89 percent of the cap by rule. So they are gonna throw extra dollars at revis.. cause why not.. while no dB is worth qb money.. but revis is close if anyone

who touches the ball more, CB or QB? Who effects the game more, CB or QB? Who wins, or loses, more games for you a QB or CB? no CB is worth more than 1/10th of the NFL salary cap.

Hopefully the Packers make him an offer he can't refuse. Money + a shot at winning a ring with two separate teams.

And that's another point to it. It's a PR move and not a football move. It's why the Jets have been a mediocre team for the past 40 years.

    Exactly.

So, now we're paying players by how many times they touch the ball? By that logic, Geno Smith should be the highest paid player on the team. Makes no sense.

Which quarterback do you want to sign that we won't be able to afford?

    Speaking of overpaying...

Will no one find it weird if Revis chooses the Jets because the money is higher? That would mean two teams in contention for a title, the Packers and Pats, refused to give a guy the kind of money we did despite the fact he could put them over the top.

How in the world can u say it's not a football move? Is CB a huge need? Is Revis the best CB in football? It's a football move.

Besides with the amount of cash some of these FAs getting Revis at 16 looks like a bargain.

That's how you'd run your team?

"Well, if he was worth it, the Pats would have signed him, therefore we shouldn't sign him?" How is that even logical?

It says something when a team has a chance to repeat as champs but they won't pay the guy that puts them over the top as much as a 4-12 team would.

Two days ago I agreed with you. I think the fact that Devin McCourty is off the market changed my mind. As we saw in 2014, the money's no good if it's not being spent.

I disagree. Cornerback and Quarterback two most important positions by far. With a good corner on the outside, your defensive playbook changes for the better. So much more flexibility with blitzes, coverages etc. Cant do that with fucking Marcus Williams bruh.
