adam schefter just said on NFL insiders that he believes if the patriots don't sign revis by 4 o'clock today, we should be the favorites to land him

Could Jets afford an Antonio Cromartie-Darrelle Revis reunion? Cro doubts it

In a media tour Tuesday, timed nicely with the start of free agency, former New York Jetscornerback Antonio Cromartie said he has narrowed his choices to the Jets, Arizona Cardinals (his team last year) and the Dallas Cowboys.

Yes, the Jets are showing interest in Cromartie and his old running mate, Darrelle Revis. As much as he'd enjoy a reunion, Cromartie doesn't think it's financially feasible for the Jets to afford him and Revis.

I don't think people appreciate just how much this would impact our defense. If you pair a shutdown corner with the defensive line we have it turns from a decent defense to lethal.

Cromartie also said he thought Revis will stay in NE, even for less money, because he has greater odds to win more SB's.

I vote NO to Revis. But I also value loyalty, team companionship, and consistency. Revis cares about himself only and can not be trusted to hold out every single year. I get it, he is a great Corner, but shit we just draft Dee. Bring Back Cro and draft another CB in the draft. Use the money on the oline.
