I don't know about everyone but my personal opinion is that 3 veterans at RB is a logistical waste of money especially during a year that has some real talent at RB. I know there are a lot of people dreaming about different positions in this draft but the smart money is RB and pass rusher
They have similar stats. Vereen has higher yards receiving, but that was with Brady throwing to him not Geno. You know how Powell plays with the NY Jets. You don't know how Vereen would play for the Jets, and you also don't know if Vereen would have come to the Jets. We will see how the contracts break out.

i think we should draft a guy. draft is really deep. with guys like Ivory and Powell in the mix, we won't have to ask the rook to do too much while he adjusts to the game.
I never wanted Amaro, and still think he sucks. I admittedly overreacted to Sheldon after the draft. Unlike you, I am able to admit when I am wrong. it really is okay. Powell's had more yards on the ground than Vereen has ever had and isn't that much of a step down as a receiving back. we're not missing much between Powell and Vereen is what I'm saying.
