    does it?

we can very well have those three as our RB corps.
    wouldn't surprise me.

I don't think we are in on Spiller at all even though it would have made a lot of sense.

Bilal Powell is easily worse than every other RB on the market, including those the jets were looking at.

I can't imagine you watch Jets games. The guy isn't strong, he isn't fast, but he's sneaky good at finding the hole and making 4 yards out of nothing, running into a pile, and somehow he's another 2 yards up the field at the bottom of the pile. If we had an o-line that could move the line of scrimmage forward rather than backward, he'd be even better.

The shame of it is they say we are out of the Spiller market now and I can't see Ivory and Powell being enough to get us through the year.

FA just began, there are many more moves to be made. wait until we make those moves before worrying and complaining.

Ok I'm about to be pissed off again this year! We May be losing some talented players off this team. But it seems like they will only be replaced by washed up scrubs. Either this GM sucks, too (by not resigning home grown talent) or for whatever reason, fa's just don't want to come here.

It now can be said from me and @adamschefter: QB Brian Hoyer will sign with the #Texans. Expected to happen with next 24 hours.

    If I'm Chris Ivory I'm looking for a re-up.

Hes had two productive years, not elite but quality second tier work, his injuries have been limited, and he's just now hitting his prime. the jets absolutely could and should afford him an extra few million to keep him on contract for a couple years. theres no risk to giving him a 2 year extension worth another 10 mil for instance.

he's outplayed his contract, he deserves more, especially if Powell makes about the same amount with this new deal.

    Brandon Marshall: great!
    David Harris: good.
    Bilal Powell: fine.
    James Carpenter: ok...

I just hope, we don't sign Buster Skrine. He's terrible. It seems that he's getting his money for being burned at a constant rate. I can't think of a worse Free Agent CB-signing - and that's not even an exxageration! In my books even Kyle Wilson would be a better option - which obviously says a lot...

Heading into the draft with Ivory and Powell is GREAT. Its a bumper crop of RB's this year and I was worried getting Spiller would prevent us from grabbing one of the rookies. Besides Daryl Richardson is pretty good too. Totally happy with this.

Other than the obvious reasons about why I want Revis, I'd also love to sign him to see the pain in New England and Miami fans. Miami fans are going nuts here worried he will be back with us.

Jets have interest in bringing back free agent DT Kenrick Ellis, but are waiting to see what his market looks like first. #nyj

Tbh I just want to beat the Patriots at something. I really want him for football reasons too, but I peek at pats fan forums and see those cocky bastards not even considering the possibility he leaves, I just want to crush them.
