Ex-#Jets RB Chris Johnson is recovering at an Orlando hospital after being shot in the arm last night, source said. He is going to be OK
Reminds me of an old song by Randy Crawford & The Jazz Crusaders.. " Street life, but you better not get old.. Street life, or you're gonna feel the cold."
Maybe. If it just grazed his arm, it won't affect anything and there will be a team that will use him for a part-time / depth role in their backfield at a low salary. If the bullet destroyed major nerves and blood vessels, he might have significant and permanent loss of strength and range of motion, in which case it would be a career ending injury to any player. It's probably somewhere in between, where he will be just about fine, but will take months to recover. In that case it could prompt him to retire, or if he is fully okay, he would be able to make a team this year or next, in a part time role. It's hard to speculate without knowing how bad the injury is. It could be anywhere from permanently disabling, to "I don't even need to go to the hospital." I hope he isn't badly hurt.
He asked if it was a career ending injury. Whether it's career ending depends on how it would affect his playing ability.
