Didn't necessarily mean for us, but I'm sure other teams in need were targeting him. One less name out there.
Cary Williams in place of Kyle Wilson? I'll sign up for that. I'm interested in seeing Williams again this year under Bowles' system. Would you guys be content with Cary Williams, Cromartie, and McCourty if that pans out in the secondary?
Happy we didn't over pay for maxwell.. Don't think he's a good fit in Bowles man to man scheme... I personally don't like any of the free agent long term corners this year.. I think the best options is to get cro on a good short term deal.. At least he knows how to play in Bowles system
no, he's still "under contract" because the patriots have yet to decide picking up his option or not (which they 100% won't)
"Revis isn't technically a free agent, but he can become one on Monday if the Patriots decline his $12.5 million option bonus. The Pats want to keep Revis, but the Jets may offer him more money. Coming off a Super Bowl win, 29-year-old Revis will likely be deciding between winning and a little more cash. Mar 8 - 1:49 PM" I don't know how this works but if he picks us we win? lol
So the AFC, with strong Ds across the board with Miami, NE, Jets and Buffalo will become the new black and blue division. If you don't have a quick 3 step drop passing game your running game will be non existent. The team with the best OL/QB will rule once again. We for sure know what our pressing needs are.
Would be okay with this @DanHanzus: With CB market quickly drying up, Jets might buy Revis an actual island to get deal done.
The eagles locked up Gore at 7.5 per. Great news for us as it gives them less to spend on McCourty. They are also going hard after bringing Maclin back.
