Mark Sanchez is the best free agent QB on the market. He is better than Brian Hoyer He is better than Matt Moore He is better than Matt Cassel and Ryan Fitzpatrick I don't understand why we can't bring him back when it makes a ton of football sense.
If you were to just objectively look at the situation it would make some sense to bring him back but you just can't ignore the history. We literally cost him a year of his career for no reason and treated him like shit. Besides, we're trying to get rid of the circus and this would cause a media firestorm.
He was handed the starting job last season only to lose 3 games in December and miss the playoffs. He would not bring the Jets to the playoffs. He would only bring the circus and lolJets atmosphere back to town, honestly.
I'm not a big fan of Mark but he's right. He's the best available QB on the market. He will never be a Franchise QB but he can be a adequate QB with talent around him. He's had some success in NY. He's not a total scrub. Some of you guys need to put your biased hatred for him aside and realize he's better than Brian Hoyer, Matt Moore, Matt Cassell, and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
It's pretty sad that I would have to agree with the OP. But is he better than Mariotta? (Who I'm not very high on)
It doesnt make a ton of football sense. And to be fair, there is very little evidence that he is in fact better then any of the guys you mentioned. You named a bunch of sub par QB's on bad teams. Mark was a sub par QB on a couple of really good teams. Thats about the only difference I see.
That's the problem. The market is so dry right now. I'm not saying make Mark the long term answer. But I would rather bring Mark back than overpay for any of the other guys.
It all depends on the asking price of each player. I dont like Hoyer at all. But I could be convinced of going after Moore over Sanchez for example. Depends on the price.
Nacho isn't an NFL Qb, nor is he any kind of answer in NY. He choked here, and he also choked in Philly. Absolutely not!!! If any of the QB's mentioned earlier besides Nacho had what he had in NY or Philly, maybe we would know exactly which one to go after. Nacho is not a starting caliber NFL QB, we all already know this. Nacho proved that, for how many seasons in the NFL now? Most of the posters on this board is better and show more promise than this puss of a QB.
While I don't completely disagree( due to the fact the FA qb is situTion is horrendous) I'd admire your balls for posting this. Lol you sure to be attacked 95 different ways.
He's truly not better than any of those players he's really just a jag qb. As are the rest of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
