deflation of the ball is part of the game according to Jeff Blake who played for 7 NFL teams. and apparently inflation of the ball is also very common according to aaron rodgers.

taping signals were part of the game according to jimmy johnson and bill cowher.

How is it off topic if people are using cheating claims to discredit Brady to bring up similar claims against others goat status?

    Yeah not even close.

You're a mod, maybe you can change the thread title to the more realistic: "Tom Brady, a nice little QB"

I thought misleading thread title were against the TOS.

yes, let's get back to the topic.

Brady is the GOAT because he is the best QB in this era. and this era is better than the last. and the last era is better than the last last era.

Football evolves. players get better. the whole league get better. there are more money involved. much bigger talent pool. watch some of the high school kid tapes. they look better than 60's QBs easily because they start attending QB camp since they are born. they are coached and schooled 24/7. and they get bigger and stronger without all the juicing.

it's very simple logic. someday there will be a guy who will be better than Brady. that's the sports world.

This Thread is a pile of shit. Don't You worry about what I direct to someone else, I have my reasons. I've gone thru a lot of posts and it a haven for insults and trolls.

BTW, I know Tom Brady is the best QB in the last 15 years, Jets Fans just can't admit it.

Brady is an all timer but not the GOAT. I have Montana, Marino, and Peyton over him as far as Quarterbacking, if we're talking all time winners its a different story and that's a total team stat. As much as people shit on Peyton and bring up postseason win losses like its not a team stat you can put a Mr. Potato head as the HC of a Peyton Manning led team and still get 10+ wins, he brings that much to his team.

What are you talking about? This guys been trolling since he got here and he was born the year Montana came into the league, 3 when Marino came in and 4 years old when Elway did.

I don't need some kid lecturing me on players he never saw or was not old enough to understand and only know from Google and Wikipedia.

It's a trolling thread besides. I guess its ok for everyone else to troll.

    Yup.

Who has disputed that? He's just not the GOAT. The thread title is misleading and was intended as a trolling thread but apologies for being an ass for pointing that out.

I think you're right as far as him being a lock for 10 but on the other hand he has had 3 very good coaches. People used to make fun of Caldwell but he has proven himself on another team

Tough to disregard that Colts team he coached that got him fired, Belichick won 11 games without Brady.

Lol yeah it was Collins out of retirement and whoever the fuck was the backup to Peyton the year before, I think he's out of the league already. Thing is if they tanked why fire both the GM and HC, I don't think they tanked its just that Peyton is that damn valuable. Tell you what, take that shit Jaguars team last year, put Peyton and Brady on them with the same personnel and HC/front office, which one of those teams is winning more games?

It's the same Pats trolls with new accounts - the crop that started yesterday all have 10-15 posts.

you can't have peyton over brady because quarterbacking involves the ability to come through in a pressure situation, and brady does that far better than peyton. the debate really is over because peyton shrinks when things go wrong. brady? he doesn't even flinch. down by 14 twice? no big deal. down by 10 against the best D? no big deal. remember last year's comeback win against the mighty denver offense? what down by 24-0? no big deal.

also another big difference between the two - weather factor. brady can play well in all conditions. many say brady is the greatest bad weather QB. and brady plays the same home or away. similar QB rating on home or away is a great example.

i get that peyton was probably more valuable to his team than any other player in the history of the NFL. but andrew luck seamlessly took lowly peytonless colts to a contender status because colts are well run organization. we all know peyton carried that team. no denying that. but let's not act colts had any decent backups. i know people pimp peyton for the fact they were worthless without him. but again, today's team can't function without a decent QB.

Lol alright man you said the same shit I hear constantly but I tell you what, if I'm starting a franchise and I can choose a 25 year old Brady or Manning, I know who I'm taking.
