Say what you will about Winston, but he is nothing like Jamarcus Russell when it comes to on-the-field attitude. Winston is a true athlete and he loves playing the game, you can tell he has the confidence so his teammates may like him

Yes, folks equating JaMarcus with Winston are just being lazy and probably something more nefarious.

Winston is a total football player and a leader. JaMarcus was a big fat lazy slob who took his money and ran.

It's a combination of things that go further than just "playing in a pro offense". It's what he did while playing in that offense. The kinds of throws that he made and how he made them. Funny thing is in my book some of the interceptions actually help him in a way as FSU had to overcome them to pull out victories, and he was a large part of that. You hear people talk about it all the time, the ability to "forget the past and focus on the next play". That's something Mark Sanchez never could do. Once he threw an interception in a game, it was usually down hill from there.

Mark Sanchez was not ready...Only 1 year in college and he was coddled alot. In the end, Pete Carroll was right about Sanchez
