    Maybe.

But say we get two 1's, two 2's and two 3's. I would think that the 20th pick an extra 2 and an extra 3 would get us to 12ish.

That would allow the Jets to grab the player they (theoretically) want, while retaining an extra first and maybe an extra second or third.

Or they think they'll be able to get their guy at 20 (Devante Parker/DGB/Peters for example), they can keep all the picks and have a ton of ammunition if they like a QB next year.

The Skins scare me but I just can't see Washington trading with a hated division rival.

Jax or Tenn are most likely.

No I understand, it just seems like a Madden trade at that point. Or one of those trades in the Draft Simulator thread.

Do those really happen? Move back then move up all in the first round?

Maybe not to the extremes of 6 to 20 and then 20 to 12. I know I've seen teams trade back just to trade up. Maybe the Browns do it recently? I have no clue. That's what I would do.

I personally think a GM should be able to see his plan through, yes, but I have absolutely 0 problem with the fact we moved on from him.

    Source?

As someone who shoots custard all over their pants at the thought of having Revis here for $16 mil next year, you should be thanking Idzik for what he did last offseason.

Idzik actually had a sound strategy and I wouldn't mind if Macagnan employed it. Build through the draft, and don't overspend on FA's.

If Idzik drafted Bridgewater instead of Pryor, he's still employed.

    Oh yeah, NOW I remember.

He continues to be one of the worst. He should keep it up.

Not after those first two drafts. I don't care what his financial plan was.

Also, Cleveland did do it last year.

Traded from 4 to 9, then traded from 9 to 8, then traded from 26 to 22.

Granted, they drafted shitty ass players. I would hope in my scenario, the Jets would draft good players lol.

I am! He did a tremendous job doing absolutely nothing for my favorite organization. Thank god he brought this organization down to complete shambles where we have such a blank slate that signing practically anyone available now is an upgrade

You're saying that as if it's not the point. That's what you do when you're blowing things up and rebuilding.

now, now, now.. "rebuilding" requires that you actually build something. otherwise it's just destruction. destruction usually gets one fired

And obviously, every one rebuilds in one year. Right?

Take the trade and draft Petty in round two. Let him sit behind Foles or Geno.

You really think Jville is a possibility? They just picked Bortles.

Jaguars are the ones I agree that worry me, but they need a pass rusher and if they love Ray or Gregory I imagine that is the pick.

Leonard Williams is going to be a Titan, Dick LeBeau needs that man...Leonard is also a elite prospect
