This is the thread that won't die. He is a free agent, we are not cutting or resigning him. Good bye and good riddance.
You are not a newbie NYJ so U should know them very well. Change the cover but keep the pages the same (see kerley) & this why we have sucked for 46 years now & IMHO will suck for another 46 seasons after this one
Jets free-agent market watch: Kyle Wilson The case to keep him: The cornerback depth chart is perilously thin, so any warm body has to look appealing. Wilson is studious and durable (has never missed a game), and you never have to worry about him getting into trouble. I want to cry...
hahahahahaha what a case to keep him around! He's alive, he studies and he's not a criminal. Maybe you should apply to become a nickel corner, Hackett. You guys are similar....
Kyle Wilson STINKS!!! ..... and in other news, the sky is blue, the grass is green, birds fly and fish swim. I've been preaching this for years btw (before I joined this board) , so it's great to see a thread like this!
I hate the guys attitude but if he wants to take a league minimum contract to play the dime back spot, I have no issues with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Let him go to Buffalo and let receivers catch 35 yard balls before he ever gets his head around. The only single good thing you can say about Kyle Wilson is that he makes the tackle after the big gain It's really ashame he's so bad and has never really been coached up on his biggest problems as he's never gotten better at them. Maybe it's not that easy to coach but he doesn't seem to have a very hard time staying with receivers, and he's a pretty good tackler he just is god awful at realizing the ball is coming at his receiver or reacting to it.
you can't coach up anticipation. that is Wilson's biggest problem, and the reason i'm ready to move on from him. league mim for depth dime competition....maybe. but i wasn't even impressed with his ST contributions, so even then i'm not too sure.
I'm with you I wasn't pushing for a Kyle Wilson return it's just ashame that he has no anticipation because it seems like the rest of the skills really are there. He just seems to be missing the one that's crucial for batting down balls.
it is ashame really. i agree he has fluidity, he has some speed, and is a good tackler. his football sense just isn't strong unfortunately. he'll get another opportunity. just think it's time for us to move on.
Kyle Wilson is still out there. The longer he is available, the more likely they are going to bring him back. God, this sucks!
Bringing him back makes zero sense. They are more likely to sign a UDFA to play special teams than bring stiff neck back here.
