I always though the Louis Lunch burger was pretty good, but I've only been there twice. Pretty cool story, nice historic little building, solid solid burger, minimalist with none of the frills, grilled sideways on cast iron grill spits, served on white toast. I'm also not a huge burger guy so I guess I'm easily satisfied when it comes to burgers. Imagine my surprise when you google Best Burgers in America and it's on virtually every list. Consistently. Every year. So weird. http://www.foodandwine.com/slideshows/best-burgers-in-the-us#!slide=17 http://www.foodnetwork.com/shows/the-best-thing-i-ever-ate/300-series/burgers.html http://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/foodnews/the-101-best-burgers-in-america/ss-BBhmmtH#image=93 http://www.travelandleisure.com/slideshows/americas-best-burgers/19 http://www.thedailymeal.com/40-best-burgers-america-slideshow-0 http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2014/06/17/best-burgers-in-america/ _
