By now, it should be clear however; if Jets wanted to sit anyone, that one should have been Sanchez. At least he got the [attitude] part right. That said, I am okay with Geno [starting.] But I am not okay with Geno [sitting.] There is a major difference there. With Geno starting, what I want to see is - I want the Jets draft a QB, and sit him for a year or two. If that happens, then I wouldn't mind Geno starting too much - I know his stay will be brief, and he will be out when the time comes. It WILL suck for the duration, for sure; but if there is a better future waiting, then I am willing to take that. If Geno is sitting - that means Jets are investing their future on that retard. I AM NOT TAKING THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

see, i'd rather wasre time with a young guy with talent than a never was who is not going to be the long term answer. 4-12 cycling through young guys with upside is better that 7-9 with the j.a.g. of the year i.m.o. so another year with geno with a rookie getting seasoned sounds alot better to me than fitz/hoyer/campbell or whoever else has bounced around the league underwhelming fanbases everywhere
I think we can all agree that 2015 is the make or break year for Geno. If he can't excel in Gailey's offense, he's finished as a starter both for the Jets and most likely, in the NFL. He might catch on somewhere as a backup, but I doubt if anyone will ever see him as a starter. Unless Geno takes a quantum leap this year, he might as well go to Canada.
I don't agree with that idea. No. This year is not the make-or-break year for Geno. The audition is over. Time to wrap it up and fold the tent. He is done. [He is always welcome to prove me wrong - I doubt if he ever will.]
The question is what the Jets need to see out of Geno to keep putting him back on the field. In year 3 progress is not really the answer for a successful NFL franchise. Being consistently good is the answer.
That is, if that said player knows how to be a professional. I really suggest everyone here to check out John Wooden's pyramid of success. It's not hard at all to see why Geno will never be anything of use in the NFL.

The people who don't want Geno to start under any circumstances think this team is only a QB away from getting to the playoffs. I think we are farther away than that. We have a great d-line and that's about it. Our secondary is awful and linebackers are mediocre. Our offensive line can be improved too. There's so many other pieces we need to get good and it would have to take an elite QB to mask the weaknesses of this team as it is right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
As of now yes but we have a lot of cap room and it's not entirely out of the realm of possibilities that we can fill those areas you pointed out via FA and draft. I'm not saying we will be super bowl contenders but certainly not bottom dwellers.
100% not true. I don't think we're anywhere near the playoffs and it has nothing to do with a QB. I don't think a Moore or a Mallet or a Fitz (oh God no) or Simms or a rookie or any of them get us anywhere near the playoffs in 2015. _
