Don't look at me. I added two low priced guards that should be a huge upgrade over what we had last year.
Cant believe some of the names being released. The Dolphins released Brian Hartline. He was a Jet killer years ago, and last year he really dropped off but he was a thousand yard a year guy. He's only 28.
That is that attitude that leads to cap hell. Iupati is good but he is not all that young and will cost too much. If we are spending that kind of money let's at least bring in Baluga.
I think if you want to get depth at the TE position, you choose between Gresham or Fasano, then look to acquire a TE for cheaper. I would prob choose Fasano because Gresham can't catch. Fasano can block.
He's one of those guys like Welker that could get signed by the Pats from the fish and be a significant contributor for them. I'll bet that happens.
Bills could go after Iupati, with Greg Roman maybe looking to bring him over and Rex wanting to go back to "ground and pound." It'll be interesting to see what his market is.
I made the previous post on the assumption the FO signs Wilkerson. But yeah, if they don't then they probably will retain Ellis. I just don't think he's anywhere near essential. Jets are very deep on the DL, and he's been out here and there.
love Jalen Strong i think he is a very underratted WR in this draft hope he slips to 2nd if we dont draft one in 1st round or add a big name one
WHO CARES? Do you honestly think it is going to make a difference in the scheme of things. Woody Johnson hired a bunch of incompetent f*cking nobodies to run the NYJ. The only good thing you can say about Todd Bowl of sh*t is that he'll be the quickest fired HC in NYJ history. Same goes for Macgagme. This team SUCKS and it isn't about to change in one season. Todd Bowles is a rookie HC facing experienced, very good HC's in Rex Ryan and BB. That right there is 4 AUTOMATIC losses. This team will be lucky to go 4-12 again, more likely 2-14.
this guy just shook loose from Atlanta. i think he was like the only guy on the OL that managed to survive the year without a season-ending injury. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4216/justin-blalock if he's above average in pass protection and a decent run blocker, I say we bring him in for a visit sooner than later.
I guess you wanted Woody to keep Rex. Rex Ryan has never been a very good HC. He's a very good defensive coach. How can you say there will be 4 automatic losses in the division? You are forgetting that the Rex-coached Jets got stomped twice by Mr. Egomaniac Douglas Marrone. Todd Bowles was the assistant coach of the year last year. He has HC experience with the Dolphins, albeit with the interim label. He comes highly recommended by guys like Bill Parcells, Andy Reid, and Bruce Arians, all very good to great head coaches. What makes you so sure he is "incompetent"? I get that you are angry, but maybe you could let free agency and the draft play out at least for Maccagnan, and a few games of the regular season for Bowles, before deciding that they should be fired??
I would add Todd Herremans from the eagles as well. He's a better stopgap at right guard than Colon and would be nice to have a cheap veteran to give us average guard play for 1-2 years while Dozier and Aboushi and Winters duke it out. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/02/26/eagles-to-cut-todd-herremans/
