I'm going in no particular order Marino, Montana, Elway, Unitas and Brady. Brady never was the GOAT, is not now. But he is top 5. _
Interesting that only 1 of those QBs was drafted top 5. it's a good thing the Colts tanked for Elway!
C'mon Junc. As pedantic as you are, you knew this thread would piss off the majority. You could have just as easily titled the thread "Who's the Best All Time QB"...and then proffered your opinion in the body of the post. You didn't.....and then you use the hate that you generate to fuel a long distance journey of self aggrandizement and ego embellishment. But you claim to be a Jet fan, so I forgive you.
To be fair, it's not like he's taking the position that Mark Sanchez is a good QB who led the Jets to back-to-back AFCCG's. Now that would be an outrageous point of view.
I piss people off no matter what I do. It's my opinion, it's been a debate on this board for a long time. I HATE NE, I hate everything about them but I do appreciate greatness. I believe Brady is the best I have ever seen. I have no problem w/ others saying Montana, Unitas, Graham, Marino,... but I believe Brady is the best. I am always honest, sometimes that honestly is painful like when discussing Brady and Namath. Most of the Jets existence has been painful though.
don't be a stokes. I am on your side in this issue so I don't have to humiliate you. Please don't make me humiliate you.
The MacGuffin in this whole thing is Mo's hit. Sure...Belicheck liked Tom Brady. But he didn't like like him. That's a last minute Super Bowl game winning goal line int. out of a guy named Malcolm. It's the stuff dreams are made of.
BB's job was on the line, he was going to start Brady sooner than later. It may have pushed the beginning of the dynasty to 2002 instead of 2001 but Brady was going ton get his chance.
Our day will come! I may well be long gone, but we will get a quarterback that can take a 5 step drop from under center.
I can't believe how hopeful I was at the start of last year. Morningwheg's wikipedia page barely even mentions the Jets. Rinse & repeat.
