He hasn't slagged off NY, the Jets or the fanbase, he's risen from 6th round back-up pick to the GOAT discussion and he's never kissed the badge and then chased the dollars elsewhere (or even at home). I therefore don't hold anything against him as a player or a man.

Whilst it sucks that his and the team he plays for is in our division and is an almost certain lock for the divisional title every year it makes the times we beat them and the few times we advance in the playoffs that more satisfactory. Without him/them we might qualify from the AFC as the best of the worst every couple of years and hand out multi-year contracts and laurels rather then realise just how far behind the top (entire NFL) tier teams we really are.

Brady = GOAT could of been avoided if we, the fish and the bills had managed to sort our own houses and provide a challenge year-in, year-out but alas we're now waiting for him to retire or do a Peyton.

Slightly off topic, but I've been saying this is one of the most underrated aspects of the comeback. No one forgot Welker's drop in the SB, deservedly, but this drop seems to have been overlooked. Probably due to the skill level difference in the players.

I would have loved to see that game with 2 healthy teams.

Patriots said the same thing in 2011, but I imagine you didn't desire to see that game with 2 healthy teams.

Well i also think it has more to do with the focus being on the boneheaded call and the sadly not so much talked about great play by the Pats's CB. Everyone talks about the play call but neglecting that the kid made one hell of a fucking play to pick that ball off. The Kearse drop IMO was the biggest miscue of the game, not the play call at the end. He makes that catch and that might have been game set match. Obviously we don't know but the Hawks were clicking on all cylinders at that point and them taking another 3 -4 minutes off the clock and going in for 7 ends the game I think.

That play was spectacular by Butler.

It absolutely was but he'll never get the credit he deserves for not only reading that play and reacting so quickly but running through the WR to make the play because everyone will always talk about the play call. Was it a terrible play call? Absolutely one of the worst, the execution by Wilson was terrible as well but Butler made a great play regardless of the other 2.

Watching the replay from different angles, Butler saw it coming before the ball was even snapped. He doesn't hesitate for a second or take a single step in another direction. The ball's snapped, and he's breaking on the route. If he'd been wrong they would have been screwed. Apparently he was beaten on that same play when the scout team ran it at Tuesday practice that week. Got to credit Browner too for locking up his guy and not allowing Butler to be picked.

It's even better as Butler does hesitate momentarily as Lockette tries to sell an outside release. As soon as Lockette dips his shoulder and comes back to the inside, Butler plants his foot and jumps the route beating Lockette to the spot.

Focus in on both Butler's and Browner's feet. Browner moves at the snap of the ball and jams Kearse and Lockette takes a half step to the outside while Butler remains in position.

I hate all Boston area teams, I despise BB for what he did to our franchise, I despise Brady for what he continues to do to our franchise but I can tip my cap and appreciate greatness. I hate Miami just as much and I appreciate what Mariano was able to do too.

Yeah quit whining, the Pats had Oline issues this year and still won, but I'd like to see how the actual game was played with full rosters on both sides.

Good analysis... I hadn't really watched Lockette's first move there. Nice pick-up.

Yet you make a thread to ball wash their favorite player. You're a far bigger fan of being a douche troll than you are of the Jets.

Can a mod change this f'n thread title??
I'm tired of seeing this bullshit statement on a Jets message board, as if it is Jet fan endorsed.

at least add a (speculation) suffix, or a (junc) suffix, or a (*) suffix, so it's clear..

I deal in reality, sometimes the truth hurts. Hurl insults all you want, it doesn't change the fact Brady is in the discussion for greatest of all time.

It is #1 Jet fan endorsed, that should be good enough.
