Cro was available but they didn't want to sign him after a bad season. There could have been other reasons, too. He showed me after Revis left that he was ineffective as a team's main cover corner. He's the number 2 guy with Arizona. As for Revis as all Jets fans should know the owner wouldn't sign him. That's common knowledge.

19 picks and 1 impact player, 1 good free agency signing (Decker), 1 good trade (Ivory). I'm glad you found this thread.

I hope this putz is consulting on the draft, I'm sure he would trade out of jax spot for milliner. Poor Jacksonville.. I hope for there sake this moron isn't allowed to do anything but set the teams bus schedules.

He's a consultant to the cap specialist. An accountant, which he always was based on the results of his last employment.

I said it from day one that he graduated from dartmouth with a degree in math he's a glorifyed accountant,No one ever questioned his abilty to fix the cap that's his strong suit and he did that for us.But he isn't a gm its like hiring a guy who specializes in sweeping floors to come up with a plan to destory ISIS

Wonder if the Jags will spend over/under 5 million of their 63 million of cap space

Don't give him to much credit for being a cap specialist.. He cut 4 guys and wow no more cap hell, he did such an awful job spending money, the jets are now being forced to... It's beyond impressive how awful this idiot was.

Ironic. Wonder if it was GM Caldwell who hired him. David Caldwell turned us down, I believe, before Woodster ended up hiring Idzy.

I read the first few pages and wanted to go back in time and warn us all.

if this thread does nothing else, it serves as a reminder of how quickly things change in the NFL.

for the record I totally was one of those people who bought into idzik and sang the "he has a plan" mantra. for that reason, if I defended Idzik to you when you said fire him after the first year I publically apologize. You were so very right and I was so very wrong.

However, he did get Rex fired. So he wasn't a complete failure. 95% a failure but not completely.

Rex got himself fired, Idzik was so sad that he forced Woody to fire everyone else

You have class. U don'y have to be sorry for what U thought. We all have certain beliefs as to what is good for a team. The difference is respecting another poster's opinion. I had to take a hiatus because of the back lash (and it wasn't nice) and grief from other posters. All because of that dumb wit Idzik. Worse GM in Jet history. As for me I am a life long Jet fan and all love all my Jet brothers and sisters.

Funny thing is I remember some poster talking about how Jacksonville is doing so much better than us when the whole Idzik firing was going down.
