had half of this for lunch. likely i shortened my life span by 83 hours less buttery than their standard deep dish, but the lard from the bacon makes it equally greasy
Nice! It's callin' my name....Like the White Castle freezer at the end of the isle in the supermarket... I gotta get ready for that. Up my routine at the gym so it doesn't fuck me up too bad
currently at Staten Island, but my taste buds have been ruined by 11 years of generally lousy Army chow hall cooking
Staten Island? And you are eating that swill for pizza? That may be the most pathetic post other than hardcharger's I've ever read on this forum.
I live in Taiwan, there is more Bizarre shit then anyplace I've ever been although I ate crocodile in Cambodia. I actually was at the grocery store in Taipei 101 he went to the other day and ate pig knuckles... yum. The other night I had deep fried lobster with sweet cream sauce and ice cream sprinkles.... Jethro D Bodine added a new photo to the album: July 22, 2011. I'm gonna be a brain surgeon someday! Well ok then, how would you hold it? You can't be talking "knife & fork" when it involves pizza, no psls.... Pizza with bacon? Frank Pepe's white clam pizza topped with bacon - this is how it's done. White Clam Pizza with Bacon at Frank Pepe - Charred chewy crust, fresh briny clams and smokey slabs of thick cut bacon
Just had White Clam Pepe Pizza for the first time about 2 years ago. I had actually never even heard of clam pizza before. Was delicious. _
This guy (below: was a friend from a club I belong to) turned me on to this. Then again, he died at the ripe young age of 60 *gulp* so I guess like the saying goes: everything in moderation. He also gave me this tip should I ever order a white clam 'take out' from Pepe's: once you get it in the car, leave the top open so it doesn't 'steam' and 'run' .... then once home, jack up the oven to its highest temp to reheat. Had the cottage and pineapple again today btw, haha.. Michael Ronis, Manhattan Chef, Dies at 60 Michael Ronis, who helped conceive Carmine’s, an Italian restaurant that lures masses of New Yorkers and out-of-towners to Times Square and the Upper West Side with gargantuan portions and moderate prices, died last Thursday in Greenwich, Conn. He was 60 and lived in Stamford.
That is a fine pie. So what is the deal with the whole Pepe's vs. Sally's thing? I've never eaten at Sallys.
I'm not sure, I've never been to Sally's either. As far as the New Haven thing goes, here's a good fyi link: http://www.thrillist.com/eat/nation/new-haven-pizza-guide-pepe-s-sally-s-modern-apizza-and-more

Damn it. Now I'm jonesing for some decent pizza, which is absolutely NOT available in these parts. You cocksuckers who live in the tri-state area and eat at dominoes and little caesers really irritate me.
