I think it is hilarious how as this drags on, Pat fans are getting braver and more mouthy. The fact that it is taking this long means there is something there. Something pretty significant. Most of the balls weren't just a "tick" under. If that were the case, the investigation would be finished. No way they spend this much time on one rogue ball 2 psi under for one game. The Colts have confirmed that they alerted the NFL prior to the AFCCG because they had concerns. The whispers around the league were that the Pats have been doing this awhile. They aren't just checking into this game. They are poking around in all the games in 2014 and maybe even before. Any meathead Pat fan who is waiting for an apology is in for a rude awakening.
That's one way of putting it and you might be onto something. Kraft's got about as much chance of getting an apology as I do from my wife when she's wrong and I have to apologize.
The NFL would have to prove the Patriots turned in balls under pressure or changed pressures on balls after officials checked them, that's not going to happen. One ball at 2 pounds under and it's the ball that was in possession of the complaining team. The reason it's taking additional time, is the screw-ups by the league workers themselves makes them part of the final findings. It should be fun reading the squirming way the league is going to deal with that. I wouldn't doubt for a minute that New England consistently handed over balls that were 12 1/2 pounds, knowing that the colder temperature outside, would lower the pressure below 12 1/2, there is nothing wrong with that. When the officials check the pressure, the balls are indoors. Are other coaches that smart? No, the Seahawks just lost the Super Bowl, a day late and a dollar short of Bill Belichick's game plan. You did get the final score of the Colts game, right? Close game, decided by ball pressures?
we don't have much over NE but that picture of fireman Ed came from the 2010 season- you remember how that one ended, right?
Fireman Ed is one of the Jets fans with guts enough to tell the Jets management enough was enough. Has he gone back to the Games?
lol at this moron acting like fireman ed has anything to do with the jets other than he was a loud fan that was popular at home games
Looks like this is going to stretch into March now. Not good for the Pats I think. If there wasn't a lot of smoke coming off of the fire the NFL would have just cleared them right after the Super Bowl so they and their fans could enjoy the win.
Unfortunately, I think you're reading it wrong. There is shitload of fire, but the resin for delay is to cover up, not to fully investigate.
The longer it goes, the more they found out. It means the thing is so deep that another burning of the tapes incident must not occur again. NFL must be smart enough to realize when 31 other fan bases are outraged as much as this for a habitual cheating team, if they don't impose proper and damaging penalties, the league will spiral into the WWE worse than it is now
