    No that's not nearly enough.

Buffalo gave up a first and a fourth to move up like 6 spots and take Sammy Watkins.

If Chip wants his QB that bad he needs to pony up.

The #20 pick is depressing. Imagine having to wait that long on draft day as the studs fly off the board.

This is what we need for this pick to make sense.

    Nick Foles
    1st Rd - 2015
    1st Rd - 2016
    2nd Rd - 2015
    2nd Rd - 2016

    Why stop there??

Maybe they will offer LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, Chip Kelly, the key to the city, unlimited cheesesteaks from Pat's King of Steaks & the kitchen sink along with it.

Since you know - according to yours and many others pipe dreams, they are in business of giving everything away to the Ny Jets...

Sure. Then draft Trae Waynes or one of the saucy pash rushers. Then use your two second rounders on offense. Wait till the Eagles suck. Get a top 10 pick and find your QB.

I'd take Kevin White or Amari Cooper. Get as many offensive weapons as possible.

Crap didn't think of that.. I was thinking as if we had the 6th still.. Then yes I agree.. Best pass rusher available or corner...

Although if Jalen Strong is there, that would be a tough decision.

The Eagles are a good football team, in order to get in a position to get a QB next year assuming there is one worth it you would need to trade both firsts to move up. If you are going to do that then you just traded our sixth to drop all the way to 20 so that we can trade next year to around where we sit this year. Oh yeah plus we get a shitty Foles and two late round seconds....yay

i would jump on this in a heartbeat. im also of the belief that Foles is the real deal and can win. hes also 26, so we are getting him at the right time.

i look at it this way. Foles is young and has already shown he can be a high functioning QB in the NFL. We are the NY Jets and are once again in a rebuild, with a new coaching staff and front office to go with it. why not take a young, yet proven commodity at a position of serious need, plus stockpile some more draft picks to build other areas of need, such as secondary, o-line, and WR.

I personally feel that this is a better option than taking mariotta if hes there AND this deal or something of similar value is on the table. while im also totally fine with mariotta, hes gonna take time to develop, and the road to giving him a solid team around him might be longer, depending on how well and fast he develops

If Chip Kelly wants this kid like I think he wants this kid, why wouldn't they?? This is not unreasonable at all to jump from 20 to 6.

Only Kevin Costner could pull off a trade like that!

it's not unreasonable that Chip Kelly wants him and that they would move from 20 up to get him..

It's unreasonable to suggest they'd give up that incredible haul though. Unless they wanted to screw themselves over. Either way, they would want to move in front of the Jets, not with the Jets.

I didn't think that 4 picks and Foles was asking for much at all.. What do you think would be a more logical/realistic package?

The only way I'm making any of these trades with Philly is if it includes Mariota in the package coming to us.

If we can get extra picks out of Philly AND we can still get Mariota, then yup--trade away.

But if it means we don't get Mariota in the package, then thank you no.

I want the jets to trade out and I would be happy if they got a package that included foles... The issue is, what your suggesting(while Awesome) isn't reality. Way to much, and here is bigger problems... Jacksonville is now saying there willing to trade, Mariota draft stock is taken a beating. While all the analysts are respectful, read between the lines on what there saying about him... He's a project player, and there isn't much interst in him outside iof chip Kelley. So he doesn't have to give up the house to get him. I agree with you and it seems like the Eagles will over pay. Just not that much

Well any realistic trade isn't going to include Foles + their 2016 1st rounder, in addition to the 2015 picks, it will be one or the other of those two. Ultimately though, I really don't think they even call the Jets.

If the Eagles really want Mariota they'd jump over us to get him.

    Exactly.

What we have to hope is that the team they are trying to jump to doesn't want to be picking out of the top 7-8 players and we can do a better albeit cheaper deal.

Jax or Tenn may not want to wait until 20 to get their blue-chipper.
