    Ok, So:

I can't defend the Big East Record with conference records
I can't defend the Big East Record with intra-conference records
I can't defend the Big East citing that three teams won Early Season Tournaments
I can't defend the Big East citing they are second in RPI, a calculated statistic
I can't defend the Big East citing they are on pace to have 60% of the conference qualify for the NCAA Tournament

Tell me, what statistic, standard, or measurement can I use to counter your well thought out, fact-based argument that "the conf stinks and is overrated"? What non-subjective measures are you using?

RPI is a joke, the Big 12 is also overrated but the BE is BAD. St. John's being a bubble team is a complete joke(and I like SJU and want them to make it).

    You didn't answer my question:

What statistic, standard, or measurement can I use to counter your well thought out, fact-based argument that "the conf stinks and is overrated"? What non-subjective measures are you using?

So you have watched EVERY SINGLE Big East game this season to derive your conclusion that the conference stinks?

I would bet I have seen more BE games than you have ACC games.

I saw that one unfortunately. I guarantee you if they play again Carolina will beat them fairly easily.

They probably would (although it's fairly presumptuous to assign any "fairly easily" tag on any UNC win), but more to the point, it's increasingly due to Butler's fall from grace having lost two of their last 3 Big East games (and the third game they barely escaped losing to cellar-dweller Creighton 58-56), but on top of that, sophmore double-digit scorer Andrew Chrabascz just broke his wrist and had to have surgery on it over the weekend. They're currently on a down swing and are coming off a blowout loss at Xavier.

    edit: so my guess:

    @ Butler: UNC 79, Butler 74
    @ UNC: UNC 112, Butler 43

Carolina crushed Ga Tech Saturday and only had one bench player who rarely plays get extended PT. The point of this is not to crow about beating Ga Tech as Tech stinks(though they did go down to the wire in Cameron) but to show how many injuries the Heels have had. I don't want to hear any injury excuses w/ what Carolina has had to deal with.

Ok, I concede that point. However, when did I question how good the ACC is?

based on being a better, more talented team. The way Carolina has played the last 2 games they could beat anyone in the Country even UK. Can they get healthy and keep playing well? we'll see, the record isn't great but there's really only one bad loss and that was the Pitt game where Pitt literally couldn't miss a shot.
