Last year the dream WR pick pre-draft was Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans, or Odell Beckham. We didn't have a chance to draft any one of them. This year the draft seems to be just as loaded. There is a good chance that none of the WR's will be taken by pick 6. In your opinion which WR is the best one?

--Strictly a discussion about the receiver position, not what we should do with the #6 pick...

It is shaping up to be a very good core!

    This is my top 5

    Cooper
    White
    Parker
    Strong
    DGB

Amari Cooper is just so smooth, has great hands, speed and runs excellent routes! He is the most polished receiver in the draft!

Im so torn between cooper and white. I'll go with cooper, but its very very close.

If we dont get one of those 2 in the first, i really want jaelen strong in the 2nd, though im starting to feel he'll be a late first rounder

Cooper is the best WR available, he's been playing like a Pro for a few years.

White & Parker are very physically talented. White highpoints a football better than any WR in the draft in recent memory. Parker has incredible hands, and concentration. I mentioned this in another thread, White and Parker are closing in on Cooper, but I think they will fall just short.

The only two I see worthy of top 10 picks would White and Cooper so IMO they are the only ones to choose from but a lot people seem to like Parker almost as much. If the Jets were to go WR there wouldn't be a bad choice whether staying put and taking Cooper/White or trading down to 10-12 and taking Parker.

If we were to go with WR at 6 and had a choice of anyone we wanted it's so important that we not screw it up.

The popular thing lately has been to put White over Cooper, but I've been starting to really love Cooper lately. Someone on here compared him to a bigger Antonio Brown and I definitely see that. I think this kid's gonna be great and if he's there at 6 he's who I want.

I like Cooper's route running and hands, and he also has a great workmanlike attitude and work ethic. But something intrigues me about White. He is a bit bigger, faster, and more explosive than Cooper. High points the ball well and is physical enough to matchup with any CB, and is great with the ball in his hands after the catch.

That said, you can't really go wrong with either of them. Both will be very successful players in the NFL.

One thing I learned with OBJ on the Giants, what are the sizes of their hands?

Cooper has the same size hands as OBJ, 10 inches. Whites hands are 9 1/4

I think Oakland will probably take a WR before us (probably Cooper)?

I hope Oakland takes Kevin White, so we can take Cooper.

Oakland, like the Jets, have so many needs that it is very possible for them to pass on a WR. They have been linked to Cobb (McKenzie) so it's way too early to judge anything.

As far as the WRs go, I voted for White -- but I would be extremely happy with him or Cooper.

Kevin White in a heartbeat... If we go Mariota in the 1st, I want Jalen Strong in the 2nd.. Kid is going to be a problem.

Kevin White looks like Julio Jones.
Amari Cooper looks like (a young) Reggie Wayne.

I'd be happy with either guy.

That would be nice. I like Strong too. Had my eye on him @AZS. Sprinkle in a few FA's and need picks later and I'm good :)

I voted for White too. But I want MM...Bad

i love White's attitude and upside.
Cooper is the closest thing to a can't miss prospect though. very clean player and very low risk high reward choice. For that reason, i'd still go Cooper.

It's a tough call. White can do things Cooper can't. I love (what people say about) Cooper's work ethic which raises his floor (and ceiling) that much more.

Having said this, for all we know Macc could very well trade out of the #6 spot (or take a defensive player) with both guys on the board.
