Wow OKC... Put me through an emotional roller coaster in a matter of 5 minutes right before the deadline. I was soooo excited about hearing Lopez and Jarret Jack was coming to town...then that got shot down.

Not sure how i feel about the actual trade but it's getting high praise. I don't know much about the Kanter guy so i'm not about to pretend that was a good move. Same with the singlar guy. Novak is great for our bench him and morrow will light shit up from down town, Augustine is a good vet back up PG to orchestrate that beast of a bench we have now.

Got rid of 2 guys that was going to walk for nothing this summer anyway, replaced them with 4 supposedly good role players ( i can only vouch for two of em, and Novak is as 1 dimensional as it gets). Sounds ok.. gotta see how it pans out.

Heard my boys J.Lamb and Perry Jones left too... they were personal favorites of mine but they don't get any PT anyway so fuck em..

Philly is a mess. They seem suicidal

I'm not sure why they would get rid of MCW. What did they even get? Some draft picks? Doesn't make sense to me.

I like the trades. Goran Dragic is a beast. Whiteside will lead the team equally, if not more effectively. Granger, and Cole are no big losses obviously. If Wade can be relatively healthy, Miami will be a solid playoff team. Title contenders? Now that is stretching it, but I understand your optimism.

You couldn't be more wrong man. Lamb, and PJ aren't going anywhere for starters. Singler is a solid wing man. It's not a huge add, but it's good. Augustin is imo better than Reggie, so I'm thrilled about that move. Trust me on that one. He will be a great bench guy for us. Then to top it all off, we finally rid ourselves of Perk, and we got the 2011 3rd overall pick Enes Kanter. He won't be a block king, but he is the young big we really needed. He's no elite player, but he is very good, certainly above average, with a high ceiling.

For all the blind optimism you usually have, you SHOULD be doing backflips right now, cuz Sam Presti just pulled a damn Houdini act baby! We're going to f'n steamroll thru the rest of the season. That is of course assuming everything gels like we hope it should.

Doing some research on Kanter and Singler.. Kanter is a beast on the glass and puts in a good 14 a night. Not many blocks though but thats what iblocka is for. Kanter and Adams might get on alot of opposing teams nerves (as if Adams doesn't enough already).

Singler is a sharp shooter supposedly from duke. So him Morrow and Novak from 3 off the bench could be something to watch for. This is turning out to be rather exciting now that i'm understanding what the hype is all about...

But tonight vs dallas we might be shorthanded and whooped on i doubt any of these guys play tonight

I just don't get Miami man.

Two first round draft picks for Dragic?! He's good but that's a lot to give up for him. They are banking on Whiteside and Dragic. That's a scary sight

haha right.. Yeah I was surprised you weren't instantly hyped up. Yes I'm sure our 1st round draft busts are still here lol. I was thinking the same thing about tonight though. We won't have Adams, Perkins, or Reggie. The new guys won't be ready for tonight, so I'm thinking we might lose tonight. It's worth it in the end though.

1st round picks in the NBA are nowhere near as valuable as the NFL... teams throw draft picks around like they aint shit lol. Guess it depends on the draft class too though.

I don't understand why people aren't mentioning Portland as a championship contender. The team is in third place in the tough West Division. And they haven't played as well as they are capable. They just got the one thing they lacked in a backup for Batum. When Aldridge comes back, this could be interesting.

Miami won't be contending for titles any time soon.

Portland is legit, though. I consider them title contenders.

    He gave tanking his all!

what a crazy day. I think Kanter to OKC is a good move but I think Perk was loved in the locker room so losing a leader is always tough.

Reggie finally got out of there. MCW in MIL seems confusing.

    BYE PABLO

MIA probably gets Dragic for 4/5 years

Afflalo was a good pick up but they still have NO BENCH, that's why nobody is threatened by them.

They have a decent bench they just don't play them that much. Give Neil Oshey some credit. NBA free agents would rather go to the Knicks than Portland. Which illustrates how bad the Knicks are.
