When a guy comes into the league with hype and no physical ailments and fails that imho is a bigger bust than a guy that has physical issues but the team takes him anyway. Gholston was a combine king but that was it so I'd put him behind Lam Jones just because they hype wasn't his play it was his combine results. Vernon Davis had the same combine type hype but turned into a decent player. The ghost disappeared completely once the ink on his contract was dry. The sad thing about commenting on Robertson is that there was no drop off in play when James Reed came in for him and Reed was just awful.
both played 5 years for Jets, Robertson had sacks, Reed 6. Robertson was a beast during that '04 run though, never lived up to what we paid for him but he gave us one outstanding year.
