I am going to assume almost all of you consider Football as your favorite sport to enjoying watching. If not I would be very surprised. A bit curious about the interest of the board and what sport you guys enjoy to watch. And no tie's! HOWEVER, if Football is not your favorite sport I did attach a poll option and do let us all know whats your favorite one.
Boxing or baseball Then hockey or basketball Rugby is a great sport too, just not popular here. Soccer is not terrible either, save flops.
Love the Jets the most, but a bigger fan of baseball at this point. Especially considering the way the NFL has changed so much over the years. Grew up a fan of all the NY teams...
Fantastic thread idea. After the NFL, there are a bunch of things that tie. NASCAR is probably second, but it's not considered a sport by a lot of people, nor was it an option. So I picked basketball. I enjoy the league as a whole more than baseball. I enjoy watching my local Brewers more than most basketball games though. So it's hard to pick 1 certain favorite.
It used to be baseball. I think it is hockey now. I used to love basketball growing up, but I barely watch now until the playoffs. 1. Football-Jets 2. Hockey-Capitals 3. Baseball-Yankees 4. Basketball-Wizards 5. Soccer-Truthfully I would probably watch a soccer game over an NBA game these days.
Since we're all doing teams now, instead of sports... shit I'll join. 1. Jets 2. Packers 3. Thunder 4. Brewers 5. Kyle Larson, Brian Vickers
Hell, been a Jets fan since I was 10 or 11, I will be 60 this year. So keeping with that theme of supporting lost causes Méts Knicks.
Sports: Football Boxing NCAA basketball, screw the NBA MLB Soccer Non Sports: Nascar Golf Professional Wrestling In that order.
Hockey I guess but I barely watch it. Honestly I do watch more Esports than hockey so maybe it's actually Esports.
If I'm just sitting around 'shaking hands with the General,' then women's wrestling otherwise (if live) the Rangers. Yanks a close 3rd.
College lacrosse is my second favorite sport, but hockey is right up there. Baseball has become excruciating to watch with four hour games and 47 pitching changes. Plus the juicing era killed it for me. I used to love pro hoops as a kid, but find it unwatchable now. The one year rule and big time college football ruined college hoops. In the 80's you had top players like Ewing and Mullin staying four years and teams had an identity. Now it's one year and on to the NBA. The great hoops conferences and rivalries are gone thanks to football. The loss of the Big East and the expansion of the ACC and SeC also ruined college hoops.
1. Winter Olympics 2. Mets 3. SU football and basketball 4. NCAA lacrosse championships 5. The Masters (Sunday) 6. Stanley Cup Finals 7. Tour de France Actually college football is pretty high up there. Assuming you meant on TV. Live is another discussion. _
