Slowly pushing my way up to a 7k Draft, it's really hard. Key to getting a good draft is setting aside your preferences for individual players and choosing based exclusively off of pick value, literally BPA. I Need to get better at my trade ups to limit the number of picks but some trade downs are necessary to get real value. In this draft Mariota was available at pick #6 but I knew the odds of any team taking him until prior to pick 10 was negligible at that point so I traded down until i reach #9 in order to increase the value of the Mariota pick. So close to 7k, and this is a totally killer draft (save for my last pick.). I really didn't want to take Gurley at #7 but his value compared to other players at that spot was just too high. I actually, as a player, prefer Duke Johnson to Gurley for the Jets becaue Gurley is too similar to Ivory where Johnson is more of an outside speed guy who's dangerous in space. But I'm going for score and not necessarily who I'd draft. I will break 7k, that is my goal for the game. Nice value on Maxx Williams, I think that's the lowest I've seen him fall to date. Actually I think you scored better on Sims there than Mannion, I think the last time I drafted Mannion with the 7th round #6 I got a C+, though I could be thinking wrong there.
