ahh those all so important playoff wins and losses blamed on the defense. it feels like we have been down this road before, funny seeing a certain someone in here livening it up.

my vote is pennington, but im going to vote for richard todd because nobody else has.

I LOVED Chad. I wanted the Jets to draft him and couldn't believe it when they did. It hasn't been very often over the years that I loved a player in college, wanted the Jets to draft him then they did, but it happened with Chad.

That said, all of you who voted for Chad over O'Brien must be too young to have ever seen O'Brien play. Chad was very good until his shoulder got destroyed, but there's no way he was better than O'Brien. Chad's the #3. In terms of smarts, Chad may have been #1, but in terms having the arm to make all the throws, producing wins, etc., O'Brien beats him hands down.

Anyone who voted for Sanchez should be permanently banned from all Jets sites because they're too stupid to be a Jets fan.

please stop saying this, I saw every game O'Brien played. Chad was the better QB and it really wasn't that close. I think we get blinded by the great highlights of '85 and into '86 but Ken had a very small window of success as Jets QB. we get blinded by a great deep ball, Ken was a great passer but there is much more to this position than just being a great passer.
having the arm to make all the throws? Ken had a better arm.
producing wins? O'Brien lost more than he won and never won a playoff game.

I voted Sanchez ahead of the overrated O'Brien but 3rd on this list. I like winning more than a few highlight plays w/ the most talented offensive personnel in team history.

awesome job, that's 2 more TDs than he had in his postseason career. Mark Sanchez had more in one game.

For some reason...Vinny Testaverde always reminded me of Jerry Cooney.

Then again, Jerry Cooney always reminded me of a tall Bruce Springsteen...

    Weird, huh?

It's a sad state of affairs when Mark Sanchez is in your top 5 as a franchise QB. Very sad.

Can't forget Kerry Collins! I put the Jets on even par with Detroit and Jacksonville. We are waaayyyy behind the Panthers and everyone else. Really damn sad that we are behind an expansion team...oh well...

Don't worry, he's not. Sanchez is in the discussion with Richard Todd or Pat Ryan - He doesn't even come close to approaching the group of Namath, O'Brien, Testeverde, Pennington, Esiason, Favre and Neil O'Donnell.

Ok, I'll say it...you have 100% no idea of what you are talking about. If you throw out the Super Bowl he's got a better record than Namath too. Favre doesn't count...whippity dooo.... It's ALL ABOUT THE WINS. WINS WINS WINS WINS WINS WINS WINS!!!!!!! How damn hard is it to grasp? Vinny T., Sanchez, Pennington and the rest of the fools...in THAT exact order is your top Jets QB's of all time based on winning fucking games. And Sanchez has won the most playoff games...and that INCLUDES Namath. NOT that hard to figure out.

Ah ... so why are Dick Jamieson, Quincy Carter and Ray Lucas not at the top of your list?
