2010 - Cromartie and Revis shut down Manning in playoffs , Jets go to AFC Championship game 2011 - Cromartie has a good year and has four INTs 2012 - Revis goes down, Cromartie does great job as Jets #1 CB 2013 - bad year for Jets, played with nagging hip injury 2014 - great year in Arizona
I am still scarred from the realizaiton how many posters here wanted Cro gone last off season. All without any real alternative in the pipeline. It was like mass psychosis. At least I knew I was the sane one.
I don't think he was great last season but he was good he was also not asked to be the best cb on the team
2010 - you're using a championship game to explain an entire season??? Hahahaha 2011 - Cro had a good year 2012 - Cro was barely targeted the whole year because there were easier targets 2013 - played with nagging hip injury but ran like lightning on kick returns, ha 2014 - a better pass rush and safety support than he ever had with the Jets And you totally left out the San Diego years, Like I said, if you are capable
This has been said a million times and I'm going to make it a million and one. There are a ton of Jeremy Kerley's in the league. We Jets fans have thought he's great because we haven't had a great WR in what feels like forever. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy, but we can easily find his production elsewhere for cheaper most likely. He was invisible after he got his contract.
Cutting him would be a mistake.. I think hes a good receiver with allot of potential and doesn't make allot of money. How can any reciever be evaluated under the horrendous qb situation they have be stuck in.
I wouldn't cut him unless we planned on spending a lot of money elsewhere at the position in free agency
I missed your arrogance. Im happy your back, even when I agree with what you say. Your so obnoxious. Lol
Doesn't matter he's not getting cut in the first year of his deal. 1. We have 50 million in cap room 2. We have a need at War 3. He's not getting cut
2010 was a good year for Cro, the game was significant because we lost to Manning in the playoffs the year before when we did not have Cro. I notice you have not made any case to the contrary. 2013 running in a straight line is one thing, turning on a dime and adjusting your route to catch a reciever capable of running a 4.3 forty requires a lot more flexibility. You have yet to make your case to the contrary.
no sense in cutting him if we've basically paid him for 2015 and wouldn't save any cap space. That said, how on earth is he getting 4 million a year???? He contributes exactly nothing week in and week out. nothing. Hes maybe the worst and gayest PR as well. I just don't get the Kerley love one bit on this board.
Yeah, lets cut a guy who is cheap and can catch and pay 10 million for a glorified special teams player who can't play in a traditional offense and whose whole "career" has been a good 8 game stretch several years ago.. That would be such a Jets move, that it hurts.
This is so stupid if true. Why would you cut a guy who is consistent at the receiver position and who costs pennies? Yeah, we really need the space
