And completely give up on Milliner? b/c that's what signing both would lead to. Another 1st round corner in the next year or 2.

We should offer Revis 14 million. Pesos that is. 936,364.31 in U.S. dollars. That would be muy bueno. Greedy chingada would probably sign the offer sheet.

Let Milliner play Nickel for a year or two... Cro or Revis won't be here forever.. Milliner isn't ready to play full time on the outside.

Cro loves NY and the Jets but he wouldn't take 2 yrs/4M. He wants one more big contract before he retires.

You think 3 years 15 mil (10 guaranteed) will get him here?

I have a problem with that scenario. Playing nickel is nothing like playing the outside. Nickel corners are usually specialist at playing that role. I don't see how we go back to Dee after basically demoting him. Milliner didn't prove he wasn't worthy, he was injured last year. We should get one or the other Revis or Cro, i'd rather it be Cro and leave Milliner as our #1. If that doesn't work we flip flop them, if that doesn't work he's a bust. Point blank. I don't believe he'll be anywhere near a bust. We could sign another Vet that doesn't demand 16 mill or more and can play some type of man...doesn't have to be the best but at least get the job done if all fails with Dee and McDougle.

I agree he shouldn't play nickel full time as he can rotate outside as needed... And if we get Cro or Revis and Milliner has to be the outside corner, I would like him to play the #2. Just don't think he is ready to take that number 1 guy just yet.

I would think more in the 3-4yr/18-24M ballpark.

    3 years 11 (12.5) million, 5 million guaranteed

Cro gets a 3 million dollar signing bonus, and 500k total from every game he's active (so if he's hurt half the year he only makes 250k on top of his base salary) he also has a 500k incentive each year if he attains 3 or more picks in one year. should he meet all requirements he can make up to 12.5 million.

    2015-2.5m base+ 500k+ 1m sb (500k*) cap hit- 3.5- 4.5m dead money 2m
    2016- 2m base+ 500k+ 1m sb (500k*) cap hit- 3-4m cap savings 2m
    2017- 2m base+ 500k+ 1m sb (500k*) cap hit- 3-4m cap savings 2m
    *INT incentive

Cro gets the stability he wants, as well as a fair and progressive pay day that rewards him for quality play. the jets get vet at a much needed spot for an easy to swallow price thats covered for injury.

    get it done MaC.

Cromartie was one of my favorite players but now he's a year older with the same injury history. He'd be lucky to get a two year contract..especially not a 3 0r 4 year deal. Maybe he earned himself a little extra this offseason but I guarantee we're passing if he's demanding anything more than 2 years 8 million.

lmao..holy shit. I thought he would max out at most about 2 yrs 10 million. could be off... but i don't think he would even dare demand anything near 24 million unless it was for like 6 years which he's obviously too old for now lol.

He had a great season this past year, I don't think he takes anything less than 6M per, wants one more payday. Teams always in need of a corner, and overpaying is the name of the game in free agency.
