I've heard from sources that Revis will go to the highest bidder. You heard it here first.

Is your source "common sense" or "history"?

Too bad. He should have thought about that before he became such a greedy jerk and hired such greedy, asswipe agents.

Revis has made more than anybody but a handful of QB's over the last 5 years. $66.5M by my possibly incomplete account. That $13.2M a year. His situation is just fine. Only the Patriots were fine alongside him over that span.

If true, it seems like Revis is trying to go the Lebron route. Go to other teams, get a ring or two, and then finish out their career with the team that originally drafted them.

Idk, but I'm tending to believe Revis is a complete genius lol

He goes to a team that wins a Super Bowl and he makes a ton of money in the process and sets himself up to make even more money in the future.

Revis is a financial genius. But in order to be one, he has sacrificed the respect of sports purists. There is a growing conviction that the love of football does not abide in him. Oh well.

He lucked out in 2014 when Lovie Smith became the HC in Tampa. Otherwise he would have ( happily) toiled in relative anonymity for years for a terrible team that did not suit his talents for years. He is still the same selfish greedy money grubbing player he always was. Now he is just an aging greedy player. A team would be foolish to pay hm $12 million a year.

Patriots will do something they usual don't, they'll overpay him to keep him away from the Jets.

We can only hope. It would be a sign that Belichik is slipping.

Idk it would keep his SB caliber defense completely intact. They probably restructure his deal and add a couple years to it. BB did tell him "that's why your here" after they won the SB..he appreciates and desires a player of Revis' caliber on his defense.

That defense was about to give up 31 points until Carroll/Bevell had an historical brain cramp

Ahhh, well those that have personally interviewed the man...but who knows, he can always go to the highest bidder as is his priorities have been known to dictate in the past.
