yeah I was saying that earlier. They chose a good year to do it since they were going nowhere regardless. Early exit in the ACC tourney probably. Worst Cuse year in a while.
It's Jim Boeheim, of course it is pathetic. they have been shady for a long time but of course they don't get caught until they come to the ACC.
Exactly what I said. Boeheim has been shady for a LONG time, the issues they are banning themselves from postseason happened in BE so after all the shady practices they finally get caught in the ACC. allowed to do it forever in the BE though. I HATE seeing this but I knew this was eventually going to happen especially since I had a great source w/in the SU program.
Nowhere did I say they did, just saying it sucks they finally get caught in the ACC especially for what they did in the BE.
In REAL college basketball news, Gonzaga travels to one of the most dangerous campus sites in all of college basketball: SANTA CLARA! Don't let the Bronco's 11-12 record fool you! This is a dangerous squad that has beaten such titans as 10-11 Washington State and national powerhouse Rider! That 16 point spread MUST be a typo. Surely, it must truly be 1.6. Let's hope those scrappy 'Zags can pull of another major upset!
Looks like ESPN thinks they should get credit for beating all the Memphis teams of the past: "Gonzaga stepped out of West Coast Conference play and furthered the best start in school history, beating a foe that had given it plenty of trouble. Now the No. 2 team in the nation, the Bulldogs get back to business as usual against one of the conference teams they've generally dismantled. Mark Few's team heads to Santa Clara on Thursday night seeking a 16th straight win while continuing to make its case for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament. Prior to Saturday's 82-64 home win over Memphis, Gonzaga (22-1, 10-0) had dropped six of seven against the Tigers dating to the 2005-06 season. The Bulldogs matched a 15-game winning streak from 2012-13 when the school earned its first-ever No. 1 seed in the tournament, and they haven't had a better run since a 20-game streak in 2005-06 that ended in the Sweet 16 against national finalist UCLA. Their final eight games plus the conference tournament will all be against WCC foes, so they were happy to have something different thrown their way."

Take this quote, and put it in your signature: Gonzaga will not reach the Elite 8 this year. Depding on the match-up (ESPN projects Oklahoma St.), they will most likely not make the Sweet Sixteen.
And yet I had thought 'Cuse moving to the ACC would've been a match made in heaven and a good landing spot from which to blend in with all the other UNCs of the world.
is that any different than duke surviving a scare at home the other night against a bad Ga Tech team?
they both suck and Kansas is #1 in the RPI- better than the team that is undefeated and beat KU by 50.
Reality supports my arguments. Ga Tech has 1 win in the ACC and lost to South Carolina Upstate whoever that is. Both Santa Clara and Ga Tech beat Rider- Tech by 7 and SC by 8. and the "scare" for Gonzaga was trailing by 2 at halftime, by midway through the 2nd half they had a double digit and cruised to a 14 pt win. Ga Tech was in the duke game up until the final minute.
In addition: Georgia Tech on the road lost by six Santa Clara at Home Lost by FOURTEEN Georgia Tech best wins: @ #20 Miami by 20, Georgia by 7, Santa Clara best win: Home against 10-12 Washingotn State by 9
