I don't agree with him but there nothing wrong with his opinion. I know a lot of people on here can't stand to even think Brady is the greatest. Like I said I don't think he the greatest but he in the talks for it. It is what it is.

Otto Graham and its not even close. Ten title games. Seven championships. In his spare time he won an NBA title. Dude was Michael Jordan, Captain America and King Kong wrapped up into one.

I don't like the old timers for the simple reason wasn't that many teams back then.

I liked Fouts, but there is no way I would take him over Elway.

Thats a fair point, but I think there are arguably too many teams today. Expansion has diluted the talent pool pretty significantly.

More teams will always dilute things but I think w/ modern sports training we have a bigger pool to choose from than we did in the 80s, 70s, 60s, etc... there are more kids playing football now than did way back when.

That maybe true but expansion for any company is good for them.

Oh there is a much bigger pool, no doubt. A lot of teams were barely integrated in the early portion of Graham's career. Can you imagine pro football without black players?

I don't know what game you were watching. He had so many opportunities to scramble and couldn't. He did move around a few times and was gimpy.

he looked a million times better than the week before when he couldn't move and played great. He didn't get the job done despite being handed great FP all game long.

It was also 100x harder to play QB (particularly in the playoffs) back then because they could actually be hit, had to call their own plays, the league hadn't gone overboard on defensive pass interference, they got zero protection from schemes, and there were more elite teams in the league on a yearly basis.

it is more dangerous now than ever even w/ the rules b/c players are so much bigger, stronger, faster and more athletic.

I don't believe it, I know it. at one point they had leather helmets and facemasks and didn't hit in the head, in the 80s they had that in the grasp rule which everyone forgets. HS players now are the size of NFL players of the 50s and 60s. the 70s they started getting bigger w/ steroids but nothing size and athletically like today.
